1970s Fortis Stratoliner 6245

£200.00

The Watch

I did not believe my callipers when I tried this watch on, whilst being 37mm it wears a lot larger, especially for a vintage watch! This 1970s Fortis Stratoliner is a great example of a lovely vintage watch that has aged well, looks brilliant today as it did in the 70s! Featuring it's original oversized screw down crown, original crystal with reverse date magnifier and fluted bezel. Plus coming from a brand that is often overlooked when it comes to vintage watches, yet they offer so much value for money and this is a perfect example of that!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. This is a vintage watch so therefore signs of wear will be seen, the case is gold plated so therefore signs of age and wearing will also be seen on the plating. The watch comes with no known service history, but it is running well.

Personal Note

I think if you are looking for a gold tone, oversized, vintage watch that packs a huge punch for the price then this is it! It is such a lovely piece on the wrist but also a great conversation starter, plus in a room of collectors I would bet money you'd be the only one with one!

Faithfully Restored Tuxedo...

The Watch

Most watch collectors turn their head immediately when the word "Restored" is mentioned, however if done faithfully and for the right reasons I am all for it! If a watch has had severe watch damage and is no longer adequate to be a watch, then why waste something away that can never be used again? That was more than likely the case here and whomever restored it did an incredible job! The watch looks beautiful and is a treat to wear. The tuxedo style dial with the large bold numerals, striking red second hand and luminous hands, it's a design that has looked great in the past, continues to look good today and will continue to look great for many years to come!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. The dial is faithfully restored, therefore it is not the original dial as it once was. The watch comes with no known service history, but the watch is running well.

Personal Note

I am not opposed to this watch at all and I think it looks absolutely incredible! I know it won't be for everyone and some people cannot look past restoration, but for those that can they are in for a treat with this watch!

Citizen Bronze Dial “Tank”

£150.00

The Watch

The moment I saw this watch I had to own it, there was no question about it! I had never seen a Citizen "Tank" and then to take it to the next level it has this incredible "Bronze" dial which just shines in the light and explodes! Plus the dimensions are perfect, sits on the wrist well and comes with it's original bracelet, though I think this would killer on a dark brown leather strap! The case is all stainless steel and in great condition, never polished and it almost looks like a "H" by Hermes! Overall beautiful design, manually wound and the greatest dial I have yet seen on a Citizen! Plus... Insanely affordable!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork, though it is sold on it's original Citizen signed strap. This watch is in overall good condition, but being from 1995 and has been worn it does feature some signs of wear. The watch has no known service history but is running well.

Personal Note

I think if you like rectangular watches and are looking for something slightly different, this ticks those boxes! You will not find a modern rectangular watch with a mechanical movement for this price, but here we have something with real charm!

1976 Citizen Gold Tone

£85.00

The Watch

Citizen is the brand that started all of this for me! A vintage Citzen Eagle 7 which I still own today, such insane value for money and the Japanese certainly know how to make a beautiful watch but also one that just keeps going! This lovely example is from 1976 and is still running strong, the bold and angular case sits beautifully on the wrist and matches on a gold tone stretch bracelet it actually looks insanely cool on the wrist!

The gold tone dial is in impecible condition, featuring a new crystal the watch is ready to wear and look brilliant!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. This watch is vintage and therefore shows signs of wear, it is also gold plating so signs of wear to be expected on the plating. There is no service history with the watch but it is running well.

Personal Note

I will always have a soft spot for vintage Citizen watches, they offer so much value for money! Plus this case immediately reminded me of a vintage Lord Matic or Grand Seiko from Seiko in the same era! So damn nice on the wrist, the new owner will not be dissapointed!

Clerc “Tank”

The Watch

There is something about a vintage "tank" styled watch, the rectangular case with the simplicity of the dial, cabochon crown and so on... It makes for such a beautiful and elegant watch on the wrist, perfect for the formal occasion or for the gentleman or lady who likes to wear something a little out there on a daily basis! This lovely watch is from a brand that is no longer with us, but this watch is still working great and looks brilliant on the wrist!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork, it is paired on a genuine lizard strap which matches perfectly. There is no service history but the watch is running well.

Personal Note

It is no secret that vintage rectangular watches are a weakness of mine! I will have a vintage tank and a few reverso's eventually in my collection, but even when that day comes I will still have plenty of vintage watches like this in my watch box!

2017 Rolex GMT-Master II –...

£10,500.00

The Watch

In 2007 Rolex shocked the world with the release of the Rolex GMT-Master II 116710LN, the reference you see here! They then decided to shock the world again by discontinuing it this year! This reference had a great 12 year run, though it is no longer... I am honoured to be offering a lovely 2017 reference, in great condition and a complete set. The Rolex GMT is a world recognised watch, for good reason! The functionality makes it perfect for the person who travels, the durability and versatility also make it perfect for every person. Positioned at 40mm it wears like a glove on most wrists, they really nailed the design, functionality and wearability of this watch. It makes sense that the waiting lists are so long and the prices are so demanding.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as a complete set with spare links, both hand tags, box and paperwork! The watch was purchased from retail in October 2017, the watch is running well and is pre-owned so has some signs of wear.

Personal Note

There is a lot of talk on whether the prices of these will continue to go up or down, some claiming they can only go up and others saying they will crash... The truth is not a single person knows, they have been saying the same about the Daytona market and it's only gone one way so far... So I would say buy what the heart wants! It is one hell of a watch!

Omega Constellation Quartz...

£1,000.00

The Watch

The Omega Constellation has had some drastic design changes over the years and the most true to the original Constellation is now the "Globemaster" by Omega. This Constellation is from 2003 and is in the design of what we now know as the Constellation, it features the iconic bracelet that always amazed me as to how it's actually made and held together. This bi-metal reference features both stainless steel and 18ct Yellow Gold which pops beautifully against the subtle texturing of the white dial, contrasting gold hands and indices and bold applied Constellation star at 6o'clock.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original box and papers, the watch is from 2003 and does show signs of wear. The watch comes with no recorded service history, but the battery was changed this year and it is running well.

Personal Note

Such a minor thing... But there is something so pleasing about a second hand that actually hits the indices perfectly! Please, brands... Make a quartz watch and make it hit the lines, just looks awful otherwise! This watch offers a great daily wear for the person who blends both formal and casual and needs that watch that will work for both.

Chopard Mille Miglia 8141

£650.00

The Watch

In 1988 Chopard partnered with the prestigious Mille Miglia and the Chopard Mille Miglia was born! I am honoured to be offering THE original Chopard Mille Miglia that started it all from 1988. This beautiful watch features a crisp white dial with subtle highlights of red that flows to the bezel where it states "1000 MIGLIA" at 12o'clock. This watch houses a Quartz ETA 255.241 which has a monopusher chronograph, no running seconds on the dial but with a push of that button you can time up to 30 minutes, fitting for timing speed with the inner tachymetric scale.

It is incredible to see how much the Mille Miglia range by Chopard has changed over the years, this beautiful sized watch sits so well on the wrist and really pops. Plus what a conversation starter a watch like this would be, the name Chopard is known around the world and the Mille Miglia is known by most car fans, the merging of two popular worlds and this was the first for the partnership!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork, the watch is pre-owned but in fantastic condition and has been well looked after over the years. The watch did receive a full overhaul in March 2019, paperwork for that can be provided. The watch is running flawlessly and looks a million pounds on the brown leather strap.

Personal Note

I really love this watch and the Chopard Mille Miglia is a range I would love to add to the personal collection at some point, the importance of this watch within that range is unquestionable. What a brilliant and great looking piece, and for a great price!

1979 Rolex Datejust 16030 Blue

£4,000.00

The Watch

A blue dial Rolex alone is always a time to get excited, but a sharp reference 16030 with its original blue dial is worth shouting about! Even down to the bracelet the watch is sharp, it has to be one of the least stretched Jubilee bracelets I have seen! This watch also comes with its original box and booklets, spare links are provided too.

The datejust is a design that truly has stood the test of time and I think will continue to do so forever. It’s timeless and simple without being too unnoticeable, it has just that perfect balance. Plus… There is a little something about having that iconic crown on your wrist, whether we like to admit it or not, it feels damn good!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original box and booklets, but no paperwork is provided. The watch comes with it's original spare links too. Overall the watch is in excellent condition, without even considering the age! The blue dial is starting to fade slighly and around the lume dots on the dial it is starting to fade more which is common for these blue dials.

Personal Note

If I was going to treat myself to a datejust it would be a blue dial without question, the overall design is incredible but the blue makes it stand out and being that little bit different to the rest of the datejust's out there. Also who doesn't love a 36mm that wears perfectly on the wrist? Comfort and you'll look incredible!

Breitling Chronomat GT

£1,900.00

The Watch

An automatic chronograph, from a well-respected brand, on a quality bracelet, with interesting and well balanced design… All for £2000? Best part is it’s 39mm, wearing perfectly on all wrists, both big and small! It is a sweet spot, especially for a chronograph.

This Chronomat featured a beautiful silver dial which contrasts perfectly against the white subdials, match that with the infamous all polished finish that Breitling are famous for… You end up with a very surprisingly pleasing product, both on and off the wrist!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only, there it comes with no box or paperwork. The watch does come with spare links, it is in great working condition and is in great used condition! Overall a great package for the price.

Personal Note

I honestly didn't think I would enjoy this watch too much on wrist, but the moment it went on it completely changed my mind! I was concerned that the highly polished finish all over the watch would become far too over powering, but instead it wears so well and doesn't give off a super overly flashy persona to it!

1961 Omega Seamaster 14390

£550.00

The Watch

With the 50th anniversary of the Speedmaster it has certainly drawn an insane amount of attention to the watch and in turn the brand. However I still believe that the vintage Seamaster range is being overlooked, it will easily become one of those watches in 10 years we all look back on and wonder why we didn’t buy more!

This Seamaster features a lovely cream dial with golden accents, which contrasts nicely against the stainless steel case. Which coming in at 35mm wears incredibly well on the wrist, it is so comfy you just don’t want to take it off!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. The watch was serviced in 2018 and is running well, it is also vintage so signs of wear will be seen. But overall great condition, especially once age is considered!

Personal Note

I really do believe that small watches are coming back, personally I do not see 35mm and think small anymore, it is right in the middle of the comfortable sizes for me personally. Plus the Seamaster range is one of those that still offer insane value for money, especially when you stop and consider what it is you're actually getting for that price!

Oris Diver Heritage...

£900.00

The Watch

Some watches and watch designs just don't age well… The Oris 65 is a design that has already proven the test of time, the design is based on an earlier model released by Oris, redesigned and packaged with modern proportions and most importantly modern build quality. They offer one of the, arguably, best looking vintage inspired dive watches on the market right now, in regards to value they are certainly tough to rival yet alone beat!

This watch offers everything the modern day collector wants and requires in a watch, truly timeless an brilliant design, functionality that goes beyond just the everyday and a reassurance in build quality and movement… It ticks every single box for that!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with it's original box and paperwork, it is also still under its manufacturing warranty. The watch is sold on its original brown leather strap with buckle, the watch is working flawlessly.

Personal Note

I have always had, and still have, a soft spot for Oris. It was the brand that introduced me to the true modern Swiss timepieces and from there it has been a crazy ride... The 65 range truly offers everything you can want in a modern, vintage inspired, watch for such a competitive price, even at retail! So pre-owned they are an absolute bargain!
