Omega SpeedyTuesday

£6,100.00

The Watch

I am excited to bring this incredible Omega Speedmaster #SpeedyTuesday to sale! It comes as a full set with everything it would have when sold initially, in very good condition. It is also a very early 14*/2012! It ticks a lot of boxes for the Speedmaster fan out there, it certainly ticks a lot of boxes for me. This watch is special for a lot of reasons beyond how incredible it looks!

It was released by Omega in partnership with Fratello watches to celebrate the 5th year anniversary of their #SpeedyTuesday which they introduced in 2012, hence being limited to 2012 pieces. The dial is inspired by the Alaska Project III moon watch which only 56 were made, but this is the first reverse Panda Omega have done in Speedmaster Professional. It is also the first watch Omega sold entirely online! That's a lot of firsts...

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with everything it would have been sold new with, even the plastic watch shipment case. The watch is worn but in good condition, hairline scratches to be expected on acrylic crystal. Still under manufacture warranty too, plus it is an early 14*/2012 limited edition piece!

Personal Note

The SpeedyTuesday is not only a super cool watch but one that means a lot to me! You will see on my home page a picture of this watch under the "Sold" picture, that is because I actually sold one of these very early on in the KibbleWatches days when this watch was first released! So it holds a special place for me and I am excited to offer another one, take it quick!

1968 Rolex Date 1501

£2,500.00

The Watch

There is something special about a 34mm oyster case, whilst on paper you would 34mm may be too small, in reality it wears much larger than the mm size may suggest! This case provides one of the most comfortable wearing experiences in my opinion. The reference 1501 features the inconic engine turned bezel, giving it something more than a traditional smooth bezel and less than a reflective fluted bezel, it is the perfect in-between, the kind of watch you could wear daily and it would go unnoticed!

This wonderful example comes with it's original papers and a spare link, the condition of this is very good as you can see from the photos! I think if you are in the market for a 34mm Rolex then look no further, even if you was only considering a 36mm I would say you have to put one of these on your wrist and realise how perfect it is!

Points of Mention

This watch comes with a bracelet that will fit up to a 7 1/4inch wrist. Original paperwork including the original COSC certificate, rare to find all this together after all this time! The watch comes with no box. No service history provided though the watch winds smoothly, functions work and it runs well!

Personal Note

A 34mm Rolex will certainly be added to the personal collection at some point, smaller watches are definitely my preference and this fits right in with that! The condition of this is very good and what it comes with is just a bonus, don't hang about on this one!

Tudor Black Bay ETA - 79220N

£2,450.00

The Watch

It is no secret that I have a lot of love and admiration for Tudor, this watch really brought them back into the market and started everything we now love in Tudor. It is amazing how far they have come in such a short time. Plus there is something very cool about knowing that they will never be making another of these watches again, sure they have the "New & Upgraded" version which is truly new and upgraded, but I mean who doesn't love a classic?

Points of Mention

This was is being sold as watch only, no box, papers or spare links. It will currently fit up to a 6 1/4inch wrist. The watch is showing signs of age and wear, scratches throughout and marks towards the clasp. The watch is running well though has no service history.

Personal Note

It is no secret these have been climbing and I suspect we will not see that slow down anytime soon! I think this is a great example of one that can be found for a decent price and with a service and clean up will be like brand new for any collector out there!

Lemania Regatta Elvstrom Sails

£1,000.00

The Watch

I am excited to bring this very incredible watch to the store as it was one I enjoyed researching about and learning about! The brand Lemania is most famous for it's movement, this case was no difference with the introduction of the Caliber 1345 developed in the beginning of the 1970s. This movement and it's design would see it's way into many big Swiss names we know and love, ranging from Tissot up to Omega and many others. By the 1980s they bring it to the market under their own name and called it the Lemania Regatta, which is the model we have here. Interesting this one is also signed "Elvstrom Sails", though it is not the typical Elvstrom Sail ones you can find on the market or in the documents online, which makes this one certainly interesting!

When you consider what this watch has to offer and how unique it is, it is certainly a lot of watch for the money and someone to be considered if you are not only into the big names. Goodluck finding another one of these on someones wrist in the wild!

Points of Mention

The watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is showing signs of wear and age to the case, the dial is clean. The regatta function works as intended and the watch is running, though there is no service history with this watch.

Personal Note

I had a lot of fun trying to learn what I could on this watch, though I suspect I only discovered a mere drop within the ocean! When considering watches for the personal collection it usually stems from watches like this, ones I look into and get absolutely hooked!

LIP Nautic-Ski Electronic

£750.00

The Watch

LIP was founded in 1867 and has certainly been through a lot, though before those tough times in the 70/80s they made some very innovative and funky watches, this was certainly one of them! LIP has been reborn and is producing some very great re-issues, they even have one of this watch in Automatic, but this being the OG Electronic, worlds 2nd electronic watch, it is a special watch!

Let's not forget that this also has a super compressor case with inner bezel, plus it's original cross-hatched crowns! It doesn't get much better than this, it is also paired on a very fitting vintage bracelet that suits the watch very well!

Points of Mention

The watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or papers. The luminous material on the dial and hands is aged evenly and missing a small amount on the hour hand. The crowns operate the watch, though are a little tight. The movement can be a little temperamental after changing the time and stop, with a small shake it continues fine, strongly recommend a service!

Personal Note

Granted! This watch is definitely showing some age and would have seen some better days... It's a true watch, honest and incredible. When I get a vintage watch like this in I get very excited! These are the kind of things that get my gears going. Don't hang about on this one!

Stowa Marine Klassik 40

£395.00

The Watch

Stowa is one of those very interesting brands with an incredible history, the brand has been around since 1927 and has been making watches all the way through the war and even provided the military with watches. They moved their building in 1945 from being bombed, survived and continued! And here they are, a solid and reliable brand today making very good and honest watches at a very attainable price.

With that large history they have been looking back since the 2000s and borrowing from their own past, making very great honest watches based on their history. This is one of them. Made in modern dimensions with the quality we expect today, it offers a LOT of watch for the money! Being 40mm it also means it is wearable for most people in all occasions.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with it's original box, papers and spare Stowa leather strap. The watch is sold in worn condition, though is overall very clean as you can see from the photos. The watch is running well and all functions work.

Personal Note

Clean, Classic and modern sized! It ticks a lot of boxes for the right person, also the price is so good its dizzying! Don't expect this to hang around long, so if it is of interest to you (And it definitely should be!) hit that purchase button!

LIP Himalaya

£250.00

The Watch

I always enjoy bringing attractive watches at attractive prices, this is one of them! Coming in at 35mm it wears very well on the wrist and has a very useful day/date function, whilst in French it isn't too difficult to learn the days of the week ;) The overall design, feel and case gives me Heuer Carerra vibes on the wrist, it definitely looks a lot more expensive than the asking price.

If you are in the market for a vintage watch that will look at home on the wrist during a fine diner, or in a t-shirt and shorts during the summer, this is certainly that watch! Plus being a LIP it will attract only the attention of watch nerds! Treat yourself.

Points of Mention

The watch is being sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is in vintage condition with patina developing on the dial, scratches to case and signs of wear. The watch is currently working well, though it has no service history!

Personal Note

I find this watch very comfortable on wrist and it certainly ticks a LOT of boxes as a vintage watch lover! Plus... I don't think you'll see another one of these out in the wild anytime soon!

Dan Henry 1970 Diver

The Watch

Dan Henry is a brand that has been taking the collecting community by storm and proven incredibly popular, this 1970 was no exception. The watch is based on the super compressor divers of the 1970s and has done a very good job of paying homage to them whilst adding modern features. One thing immediately noticeable once the watch is in hand is the double domed mineral glass that is sapphire coated to make it more hard.

If you are looking for an affordable super compressor watch with heritage design but modern qualities then look no further, this watch offers an insane amount for the price, not least of which is an automatic movement.

Points of Mention

This watch comes with it's original box & watch sleeve. The watch is used but in very good condition and working well.

Personal Note

This is the first Dan Henry I have had the chance to have for longer than 10 minutes, I have to say I am very impressed. From handling them at various events I was quite impressed, but getting some proper wrist time has proven how nice the watch is. Also don't be scared away by the dimensions, the watch wears very well even on smaller wrists.

Zenith Captain Central Seconds

£2,495.00

The Watch

The Zenith Elite Captain series is one of great design, modern proportions and most of all, value for money! Zenith offer so much for your money with this line, you get a great looking watch with an incredible movement inside, which you can view via the exhibition case back! You also get a watch which fits comfortably on the wrist and feels very at home with a suit, but equally due to the modern size, wears just as well with a T-Shirt & Jeans! That is versatile.

Points of Mention

This watch comes with it's full box and paperwork, it is also paired on an original Zenith strap with it's buckle. The watch is in good, but used condition, with some signs of wear throughout, but nothing major. The watch is running, though no service history is provided.

Personal Note

My love for Zenith is no secret, of all the brands I have personally owned a Zenith has stayed in the collection the longest! This is a VERY cool watch in my book, you have all the design trains of a great dress watch, whilst sized at 40mm allowing it to be worn for all occasions. It really does look just as good with jeans & a t-shirt as it does with a full suit!

1977 9K Gold Omega

£1,000.00

The Watch

This beautiful 1977 9ct Yellow Gold Omega Reference 1625430 comes paired on an equally impressive red strap which compliments the overall look of the watch very well, also the omega signed buckle is a nice touch! The completely white dial contrasts so well against the yellow gold of the case, giving the watch a timeless elegance which looked incredible 40 years ago and will look just as amazing in the next 40 years!

The case back is engraved showing the appreciation of 25 years of work in Ilford Limited, dating February 1979, the watch was made in 1977 so I suspect it was in the shop window for a short while before being purchased to commemorate M.A.Smiths' achievement.

Points of Mention

This watch comes with no box or paperwork, an original gold plated Omega signed buckle is provided on the strap. The watch is currently working, though no service history is provided. The overall cosmetic condition of the watch is very good, though being 9ct gold it does have some scratches, the dial is very clean and free of marks. The case back does have an engraving as photographed.

Personal Note

I'm a sucker for Gold Omega's! This is certainly no exception, the case resembles a well proportioned Patek Philippe Calatrava in my mind, wears so well on the wrist and looks FAR more expensive than it actually is!

Waltham Diver

£220.00

The Watch

Where to begin with this incredible watch. You have all the charm of a diving watch with all the flare of a vintage watch. The slate grey dial just begs to be photographed and worn in various lighting, it really dances with the light. The deep black bezel contrasts perfectly between the dial and the case, plus... That case shape is so damn cool! I have a hard time seeing this watch not selling, but trust me when I say that if it doesn't soon... It'll become mine!

Points of Mention

This watch comes with no box or paperwork, whilst currently running there is no service history with this watch. The watch features a base metal case with a stainless steel case back, whilst in overall very good cosmetic condition, on the underside of the case some signs of the base metal wearing can be seen. The friction bezel works as intended.

Personal Note

I LOVE this watch! From the amazing slate grey dial to the deep black bezel, the shape of the case, the design... It really does look incredible on the wrist and off the wrist, this is one I suspect I will without doubt regret selling immediately!

1969 Bulova Accutron

£220.00

The Watch

In the 1960s Bulova was the first brand to bring a tuning fork powered quartz movement to the mass market with a slogan of "The watch that hums." This slogan was powerful as the watch truly became known for it's constant hum, this was due ot he motor inside constantly working to provide a smooth sweep to the second hand. This is a very cool reference as it was made in 1969, only 9 years after it's invention! You get the core design elements with the iconic tuning fork logo, which is still prevalent on the crown too!

This is a very nice example of an early Accutron, it ticks a lot of boxes and hardcore collectors out there will certainly appreciate this piece. I suspect it won't last too long, don't hang about on this one!

Points of Mention

This watch comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is in overall good cosmetic condition. Patina developing to the dial, even throughout. The case is showing some signs of age, being gold plated some fading and scratches is expected for a watch of it's age. The movement is running and clean inside, though no service history is known.

Personal Note

Gold is becoming more and more my thing at the moment! It's a serious guilty pleasure and this is right up my street, the unusual case shape, the unusual finishing to the case, the depth of the dial! Ticks all the boxes for me, plus it's a bargain! Look, buy it before I talk myself into having another watch!
