This watch is sold with its original Timex box complete with a comic strip on the inside. The watch comes paired with its original Timex 20mm leather strap with a signed polished buckle. The Watch

Here we have an Unworn Timex Marlin Automatic Silver Snoopy, a contemporary interpretation of their 1965 “Flying Ace Snoopy” watch, showing the famous character from the Peanuts comic. A 40mm polished stainless steel case gently curves over your wrist with slightly curved tapered lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 47.8mm and a case thickness of 12.9mm ensures a comfortable fit. On the right side, a push-pull crown. The smooth sloping sides hold a domed crystal above a radially brushed silver dial, applied steel baton indexes mark the hours, elegant sword hands are infilled with luminance complemented by a tapered second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the Timex motif and at 6 o’clock the “Flying Ace Snoopy” completes this fun vintage-inspired timepiece. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back, inside an automatic Miyota movement. The watch comes paired with a 20mm black leather strap with a signed Timex buckle and the watch comes with its Timex presentation box complete with a comic strip on the inside.

The Brand

Thomas Olsen purchased the Waterbury Clock Company founded in 1854. In 1941 they renamed the company Timex. Its headquarters can be found in Middlebury, Connecticut, USA. In 1933 we saw the Mickey Mouse watch’s introduction, which sold an incredible 2 million watches to children worldwide. In 1972 Timex released its first quartz watch, the Q-Timex. Another historic landmark for Timex in 1984 saw the introduction of the world's first quartz sports watch, the Ironman.
