This watch is sold with its original Christopher Ward box and paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original Christopher Ward signed strap with a signed buckle. The watch is from October 2020 and is sold in unworn condition, as you can see from the photos, any signs of wear are from storage. The watch comes with its original Manufacturer Warranty.

The Watch

Founded in 2005 by Mike France, Peter Ellis, and Christopher Ward, they started the world's first online-only watch brand. July 2nd, 2014 saw the announcement to a genuinely astonished watch industry their own in-house movement, Calibre SH21, the first commercially viable mechanical movement from a British watch brand in over 50 years. Here we have an Unworn 2020 Christopher Ward C65 Super Compressor. Christopher Ward has recreated the Super Compressor with its retro styling cues and construction methods. They are the first to use a compression spring in the case back for a very long time. The Super Compressor watch case was created and patented in 1956 by Ervin Piquerez SA (EPSA).

The 41mm brushed stainless steel cushion case curves towards the stubby lugs. A lug to lug length of 47mm and a thickness of 13.5mm gives the watch an impressive wrist presence. At 2 o’clock, a signed screw-down crown for adjusting the inner bezel, the top hatching is orange, and at 4 o’clock, a signed screw-down crown used to change the time. A glass box sapphire crystal emulates the crystals used in the past. The brown fumé dial is named by CW as “Black Sand” as you rotate your wrist, the dial goes from brown to almost black, with a lighter centre. The inner White bezel has a 60-minute scale, is unidirectional, and 120 clicks with an orange triangle at 12. A minute track has orange lume pips for the first 15 minutes, an essential scale for diving and is further divided into 1/5th seconds for extra precision. Applied baton indexes mark the hours and are coated in SuperLumiNova. Broadsword hands with an orange minute hand. A sweeping seconds hand with an orange counterweight and the Christopher Ward Trident. Text is precisely printed at 6 o’clock. Super Compressor is printed in orange. I think you can see a theme going on here. On the reverse, an exhibition case back showcasing the orange compression ring that holds the spring. Inside an  Automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The rotor is nicely decorated with the twin flag engraving. The watch comes fitted on its original Christopher Ward rubber strap and also comes with its presentation box and papers.
