This watch comes with its TAG Heuer original box but no paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original 20mm TAG Heuer-signed bracelet with a folding clasp. The watch is from Circa. 1990s, sold in worn condition, but overall very fair condition as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

Edouard Heuer founded The Heuer Watch Company in 1860 in St. Imier, Switzerland. Chronographs have been the mainstay for Heuer and later TAG Heuer, featuring many models and configurations, expanding the possibilities to the full. In 1958 Jack Heuer, Edouard’s son, joined the company and in 1962 the first generation of Autavia was launched. Famously worn in the 1970s by Formula One drivers such as Derek Bell, Jacky Ickx, Emerson Fittipaldi, Clay Regazzoni and Mario Andretti, and many more. In 1999 TAG Heuer accepted a bid from LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A.

Here we have a TAG Heuer Professional 2000 Chronograph CK1111-0 with a 38mm satin brushed stainless steel case, the 2000 series was designed by Eddie Schopfer. The curve of the case leads to a lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 12mm giving the watch an impressive wrist presence, down the right side, we have the chronograph pushers and a signed screw-down crown in the centre. A satin brushed bezel has raised polished blocks and a 60-minute scale with black painted numerals, a flat crystal sits above a white dial with an outer Tachymetre chapter ring. Applied 12 followed by applied rounded baton indexes are infilled with luminance marking the hours, at 4 o’clock a date window. The chronograph consists of three black registers: a 1/10 second, 60 seconds continuous and finally a 12-hour register each slightly recessed on the dial. Elegant Mercedes hands infilled with luminance and a red chronograph second hand, at 12 o’clock an applied TAG Heuer motif at 3 o’clock 200m and at 9 o’clock “Professional” complete this sports chronograph. On the reverse a screw-down case back with an engraved TAG Heuer shield in the centre, inside a Quartz movement. The watch comes fitted on its 20mm TAG Heuer stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp and comes with its TAG Heuer presentation box.

Personal Note

A fantastic option for anyone looking for an affordable quartz chrongraph from a brand with true history and heritage. Often TAG Heuer are overlooked by collectors for a multitude of reasons, some valid, some not so much... What I can tell you is that there are so many great hidden gems from TAG Heuer that many are missing out on just because of the brand name...
