This watch is sold with its original Orient box and original Orient paperwork, the watch was purchased from retail July 2018. The watch comes on its original bracelet with a clever diving extension, the watch also comes with its original rubber strap. The watch is in worn condition but is overall very good, see the photos. The watch is running well as you would expect.
The Watch
Orient Pro Saturation Diver is their professional tool watch, designed for mixed-gas diving with a case that does not build-up Helium so has no Helium Valve. It is finished with polished sides and brushed lug tops. A 120 click uni-directional bezel has an anodised Aluminium insert. Almost 5mm thick flat Sapphire crystal AR Coated protects a black dial, the large indexes and markers are lumed. The use of large arrow hands with lume makes visibility and timekeeping much easier. A small date window sits at the 9 o’clock position. In the right-hand corner sits the slightly recessed power reserve meter. Screwdown crown at the 4 o’clock and a screw-down case back gives the watch 300m water resistance. Inside is the in house Automatic Orient 40N5A which is both hand-winding and hackable. 22 Jewels beating at 21,600 beats per hour and up to 40hour power reserve. A heavier Rotor is used to ensure rotation when in water. Fitted with a 22mm stainless steel bracelet with solid end links that are fitted to the case and separate from the bracelet, the watch also comes with the Orient rubber diving strap. It has a push-button double lock clasp. A glide lock system is used for dive extension and is easily adjusted and very impressive.
Personal Note
This watch is a competitor to the Seiko Marine Master and I believe it gives it a good run for its money! It offers a ton of value as a professional saturation diver, black dial, great lume, reliable movement, it has everything for not a lot of money! I don't think this one will last long, so jump on it quick!
