Edouard Heuer founded The Heuer Watch Company in 1860 in St. Imier, Switzerland. Chronographs have been the mainstay for Heuer and later TAG Heuer. In 1963 the first generation of Carrera was launched. Singer made the dials, and Valjoux made the movements just like the Daytona. The name Carrera comes from Carrera Panamericana, a legendary race across Mexico. In 1999 TAG Heuer accepted a bid from LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A.

This Heuer has really blown me away, from a time when TAG Heuer certainly wasn't doing their best work, yet this incredible timepiece came out! The size is perfect and on the wrist, this really shines, it sits beautifully and works well for him or for her. The simplicity of the design is the highlight, you'll struggle to find a better-rounded GMT for a price like this at this size that's for sure!
