This beautiful watch features a "Sun-ray blue triple stepped dial" which allows for the most interesting of colours when in different lighting environments, when on the wrist I found myself just moving it around to see what different colours and reflections happened. The watch is named Hudson after an English Sea Explorer and Navigator during the early 17th century, his name was Henry Hudson.
The watch features a perfectly proportioned 37mm case with, the now iconic, bronze on the crown which Farer do for all their watches. Powered by the hand wound ETA 7001 which allows for the slim case but also a lovely movement to look at under the sapphire crystal caseback. It is also limited to only 100 and this is number 5, a very early edition!
Points of Mention
This watch does have an engraving on the caseback, it has been blanked for the privacy of the owner, but image with it can be provided on request. The watch comes with it's full box and papers and the watch is in great condition right down to the strap being like new.
I am a HUGE fan of this style of watch, the cushion case wears perfectly on the wrist and sits very low. I love the shade of blue but the extra pops of colour don't do it for me, but I know many people absolutely love it and once on wrist it really doesn't bother me at all. I have been a fan of what Farer have been doing and this is the first one I've had the chance to have on wrist for a full day, I am very impressed and I have no doubt the new owner will be too.
