Points of Mention

This watch is sold as a full set and therefore comes with its original Breitling box and Breitling paperwork, the watch was purchased in March 2017 and is a great condition having been worn a few times and still even featuring its clasp sticker. The watch runs great and has all of its spare links too.

The Watch

The Avenger Seawolf encompass the high standards of build and utility, to achieve the 3000m water resistance they have used a patented screw-down crown system, The Sapphire crystal is 4.80mm thick. They use Titanium for its durability and non-corrosive properties on the case and bracelet. At the heart of Avenger Seawolf is the Breitling Caliber 17, based on the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. It has been assembled and tuned by Breitling Chronométrie in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It beats at 28,800 BPH, contains 25 jewels and has a power reserve of 42 hours. The rotor is bidirectional making it an efficient automatic.

On the side of the case is the safety valve which actuates automatically at 3 bars releasing Helium built up and equalise the pressure inside to outside, preventing the case from exploding which is quite useful. And all of this comes second to that incredibly striking and incredibly Breitling bright dial!

Personal Note

The dial is what makes or breaks this watch and that is a completely personal preference, I think it is so vibrant that it makes the watch! Especially compared to the matt and slightly darker colour of the Titanium, which also helps to be more wearable due to its large size. If you have a wrist that will support it, go for it!
