Here we have a beautifully executed 2026 YEMA Pearl Diver Automatic 38mm with a 38mm brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with tapered flat-ended drilled lugs. Taking its inspiration from the historic 1970s Yema Navygraf, it blends rich heritage with modern capability. A lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 14mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence, where brushed and polished surfaces transition with well-defined lines. On the right side, we have a signed screw-down crown protected by sleek crown guards. A bidirectional rotating bezel features a minimalist black aluminium insert, supporting a highly distinct, retro-style super-domed crystal that gives that warm vintage aesthetic above a matte black dial. An outer minute track surrounds unique, oversized printed cream "pearl" hour indexes coated in Super-LumiNova for exceptional low-light legibility. On the reverse, a screw-down case back features the watch details around its edge and the embossed YEMA crest in the centre, protecting the in-house automatic YEMA Cal. Yema was founded in 1948 by Henry Louis Belmont after he came top of his class at the National Watchmaking School of Besançon in 1931. The legend goes that the name Yema was created by a teenager's imagination who entered a competition run by Henry. 1963 saw the introduction of the Yema Superman, essentially made for dive professionals; it had a 300-metre water resistance. Its bezel lock system made it quite unique and was soon adopted by the French Air Force for its pilots. In the 1960s, Yema became the leading watch exporter in France, selling more than 500,000 watches a year in over 50 countries. In 1982, Yema went to space with Yema Spationaute 1.
