Description

Here we have a highly specialised travel instrument emerging from a brand renowned for its custom military commissions. This 2026 MICROMILSPEC Pilot Worldtimer White Dial Automatic 42mm, 50 pieces made per year, is now sold out until next year. Honours the stringent requirements of aviation professionals; its 42mm octagonal Grade 5 titanium case curves purposefully over your wrist with guarded, sharp angles. An ultra-rugged case architecture, blending a mostly satin-brushed body with polished bevels to beautifully define its silhouette. A commanding, instrument-inspired layout with a lug-to-lug length of 50.5mm and a case thickness of 15mm ensures a prominent, high-utility wrist presence. On the right side, a screw-down crown protected by sleek crown guards is flanked by guarded, rectangular chronograph pushers. The bidirectional ceramic bezel insert features a positive-relief worldtimer scale with the names of 24 global cities. It holds a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal above a striking, matte white dial detailed with a fine, grained texture. A sloped inner flange with a 24-hour scale works alongside a central GMT hand featuring a triangular luminous tip to keep track of a second time zone. Applied hour indexes and hands are coated in Super-LumiNova X1 for superior low-light tracking. Recessed chronograph sub-dials sit balanced at 12 and 6 o'clock, complemented by a distinctive date window with a dedicated arrow pointer at 3 o'clock. On the reverse, a solid titanium screw-down case back proudly bears the MICROMILSPEC logo and conceals an impressive depth rating of 200 metres. Inside is the manufacture La Joux-Perret Calibre L122, a premium automatic winding movement with 26 jewels, beating at a high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour to supply a robust 60-hour power reserve across its chronograph and GMT architecture. The watch comes paired with a 20mm integrated textured rubber strap secured with a signed titanium pin buckle. It comes complete with its original Micromilspec presentation box and official paperwork.

Personal Note

With only 50 of these produced each year, this feels like a limited edition in everything but name. MICROMILSPEC is already a relatively uncommon sight, but finding one of these Pilot Worldtimers available without having to wait for the next production run is rarer still. The rarity isn't the only reason to buy it. The titanium construction, worldtimer, GMT and chronograph make this a seriously capable watch, while the bold white dial gives it a distinctive look on the wrist. For collectors who enjoy owning something genuinely uncommon, this ticks a lot of boxes. Chances are you won't bump into someone else wearing one anytime soon, and that's always part of the fun. Add this to your collection today before someone else does!

About Micromilspec

Henrik Rye launched MICROMILSPEC in Oslo in 2019, securing an initial contract to produce custom watches for the Royal Norwegian Air Force’s 330 Squadron, which specialises in search-and-rescue operations. Designed and developed in Oslo, Norway, they are physically manufactured and assembled in Switzerland, earning them the official "Swiss Made" quality designation. The brand focuses on creating bespoke, professional-grade Swiss-made mechanical tool watches exclusively for military units, first responders, and special forces. Instead of targeting the general public initially, they built their reputation by supplying custom, unit-commissioned field watches. This approach allowed them to establish credibility before expanding into limited civilian releases. In 2024, MICROMILSPEC made its international debut at Geneva Watch Days, showcasing public-facing tool watches such as the robust Milgraph chronograph, followed by the titanium Worldtimer series.
