Description

Here we have a 2025 Pinion Elapse Anthracite Grey Chronograph with a brushed 42mm stainless steel case that curves over your wrist thanks to the thick, rounded lugs. The brushed curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 50.5mm and a case thickness of 14.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. Down the right side, piston chronograph pushers and in the centre, a brushed push/pull crown signed with a polished Pinion motif and double O-rings. The stepped, brushed, and smooth bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, above a dynamic Anthracite Grey electroplated vertical brushed dial. An outer minute chapter ring has circular brushing surrounding Arabic numerals and pips coated in SuperLumiNova marking the hours. At 12 o’clock, a 30-minute register; at 6 o’clock, a 12-hour register, each recessed, decorated, engined turned, with a brass stick hand matte-blasted and finally at 9 o’clock, a running seconds with a tapered brass hand matte-blasted. The sword hands are made of brass, matte-blasted and filled with SuperLumiNova, complemented by an arrow-pointed chronograph hand tipped in red. At 3 o’clock, the Pinion motif completes this striking chronograph. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back engraved with the details of the watch around its edge, inside an automatic Valjoux Cal. 7750, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, this workhorse chronograph movement has a ghost date where the date function has been removed but the crown position is still present and nonfunctioning, hacking seconds and hand winding for your convenience. The signed rotor is decorated in Anthracite grey. It comes paired with two 22mm Pinion leather straps, two 22mm Pinion rubber straps and pin buckles. This watch is sold with its original Pinion box and Pinion paperwork.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original Pinion box and Pinion paperwork. It comes paired with two 22mm Pinion leather straps, two Pinion rubber straps and signed pin buckles. The watch is from March 2025 and is sold in worn condition, but overall it is in very fair condition, as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

Personal Note

Pinion is possibly one of the most underappreciated British watch brands in my opinion, and this fantastic 'Ellapse' is a testament to that as it should be demanding far more £ than it does! Featuring a wonderful anthracite grey dial and powered by the workhorse Valjoux 7750, this is striking and reliable on the wrist. I would not hesitate to add one of these, or any other Pinion, to your collection today!
