Description

Here we have a 2025 Nomos Tangente Neomatik Platinum Grey 144 featuring a curvaceous 39mm polished stainless steel case that sits comfortably on your wrist, with the signature thin, angled, drilled lugs leading to a lug-to-lug length of 47.5mm and a case thickness of just 7mm. At 3 o’clock, a signed polished crown with a coin edge for grip. A thin, smooth, polished bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, over a galvanised rhodium-plated Platinum Grey dial. An outer minute track surrounds the characteristic Tangente numeral and stick indexes marking the hours. Its Bauhaus-infused aesthetic is pleasing to the eye. Rhodium-plated stick hands sit above a recessed concentric circular patterned sundial, complete with its Rhodium-plated stick hand. At noon, we have the Nomos Glashütte motif and ‘neomatik’ underneath, which completes this sophisticated dress watch. On the reverse, a screw-down sapphire exhibition caseback, inside an automatic Nomos Cal. DUW3001, 27 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. The movement features the NOMOS Swing System, the brand's in-house escapement, which provides excellent accuracy. Exquisite Cotes de Geneve and perlage decoration cover this movement. Tempered blued screws and the skeletonised rotor show off the attention to detail that a Nomos watch gives you. It comes paired with its NOMOS 19mm Horween Cordovan leather strap with a signed pin buckle. This watch is sold with its original NOMOS presentation box and paperwork.

About Nomos

Nomos was founded in 1990, just after Germany’s reunification happened with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the USSR's collapse. Based in the Glashutte region, it takes inspiration from the Bauhaus design movement. To have Glashutte on the dial, Nomos has to meet stringent quality standards. They must create at least 50% of the watch calibre in Glashütte to receive the title of being a true Glashütte watch. They only use in-house manufactured movements, built up to 95% in the region, surpassing that requirement.
