Description

Here we have a 2025 Unimatic Modello Quattro UT4 Quartz with a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, finished in a utilitarian brushed effect. As a permanent member of Unimatic’s "Tough" series, this military-inspired watch is built to meet the rigorous MIL-STD-810H standards, making it resistant to extreme shocks and magnetic fields. The case features a classic "skin diver" silhouette with a fixed monoblock bezel, providing a lug-to-lug length of 49mm and a slim case thickness of 12mm, allowing it to sit low and securely on the wrist. A large 8mm screw-down crown and a solid caseback featuring a "grounding" engraving ensure a professional-grade water resistance of 300 metres. The matte black dial is a masterclass in minimalist "ghost" design, protected by a 2.8mm thick flat sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating. It features a high-contrast white ladder handset and a combination of geometric hour markers—circles, rectangles, and a triangle at 12 o’clock—all filled with Super-LumiNova C3 Pale Green for a classic military glow. The dial is free of a date window to maximise legibility and maintain its stark, tool-watch aesthetic, while the 360-degree railroad-minute track ensures precise timekeeping. Inside beats the innovative Seiko Calibre VH31A Quartz movement. Unlike traditional quartz movements that "tick" once per second, this high-frequency calibre features a 1/4 second sweeping motion, mimicking the smooth glide of a mechanical movement while maintaining the superior accuracy and "grab-and-go" reliability of quartz. The watch comes paired on a rare 22mm brushed stainless steel three-link bracelet with a signed deployant clasp, all links are provided, plus a 22mm Unimatic strap.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original Unimatic box and paperwork. The watch comes paired on a rare 22mm brushed stainless steel three-link bracelet with a signed deployant clasp; all links are provided, plus a 22mm Unimatic strap. The watch is from Circa. 2025 and is sold in a worn condition, but overall it is in fair condition, as you can see in the photos. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

Personal Note

What makes this example particularly appealing is the fact that it comes fitted with the highly sought-after Unimatic stainless steel bracelet, which is both rare to find and quite expensive to source on its own. You also still get the original Unimatic strap included, so you’ve effectively got two very different wearing options straight out of the box, one more rugged and utilitarian, the other a bit more versatile for everyday wear. It really rounds the package out nicely and makes this a stronger proposition than most UT4 examples you’ll come across. Snap it up and add it to your collection today!
