2025 Furlan Marri Sahra Edition Limited Chronograph 38mm

Here we have a 2025 Furlan Marri Sahra Edition Limited Chronograph, inspired by the culture and textures of the Sahra Desert and limited to 750 pieces. The Sahra Edition is a collaboration with CLE: The Gallery, which was founded in London in 2013 by Saudi entrepreneur Yasmine Al Shathry. Initially, CLE operated as a luxury concierge service for art collectors in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. Over time, it has become a destination for unique design items, artwork, and limited-edition pieces. Featuring a polished 38mm stainless steel case that gently curves over your wrist with fine tapered drilled lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a comfortable lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm. We have chronograph piston pushers with radial-pattern caps and a large centre crown on the right side. The stepped, polished bezel holds a double-domed sapphire crystal. The textured brown gradient sector dial features a Pulsations scale in Hindi-Arabic numerals surrounding an off-white, precisely executed minute track with the same numerals. Above, polished Hindi-Arabic 12, 3, and 6 numerals and pips marking the hours. Delicate, polished leaf hands are complemented by a tapered chronograph hand, set majestically at the centre of a dune-textured brown gradient disc that reflects the beautiful hues of the Sahara desert at midday and at 9 o’clock, an off-white 60-minute register. At noon, we have the Furlan Marri motif and ‘Editions’ printed beneath it, completing this distinctive collaborative limited edition. On the reverse, a solid screw-down case back is engraved with coordinates to Riyadh’s desert, which inspired this watch, and houses a Mecha-Quartz Seiko Cal. VK64 is a mechanical quartz hybrid with a tuning-fork-type quartz crystal. You get the same mechanical resistance when you engage the pushers, a satisfying snap-back of the chronograph seconds hand on reset, and a smooth sweep. It comes paired with two Furlan Marri straps and a steel pin buckle. Andrea Furlan, a Swiss designer and Hamad Al-Marri, a passionate watch collector and artist, founded Furlan Marri in 2020. Based in Geneva, Switzerland. Andrea worked for various watch brands such as Chopard, Hublot, Sarcar and HD3. Both were inspired by the designs of the ’30s and '40s, especially the Patek Philippe ref. 1463. Their appreciation of the case maker, François Borgel, steered them towards their homage watches. They use the Kickstarter platform as their way to bring their watches to the market with heavy advertising on Instagram.
