Here we have a 2025 Furlan Marri Sage Green Special Edition featuring Hindi-Arabic numerals. The 38mm polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case gently curves over your wrist, ending with elegant, rounded, and tapered drilled lugs. It has a lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a thickness of 11.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. Inspired by vintage chronographs such as the Patek 1463 and the dramatic colours found in the undulating landscapes of the Arabian deserts and oases. We have chronograph piston pushers with engraved "Tasti Tondi" caps and a large crown on the right side. The stepped, polished, and satin-brushed smooth bezel features a double-domed sapphire crystal with five layers of anti-reflective (AR) coating. A dual-toned sage green dial features an outer Tachymeter scale and an inner minute track, both precisely printed within a dark green ring. Applied polished Hindi-Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 and steel baton indexes mark the hours. At 3 o’clock, a 24-hour recessed register and at 9 o’clock, a 60-minute register, the contrast of cream against the sage green dial is striking. Elegant-leaf hands have polished edges and a subtle domed curve that catches the light as you rotate your wrist. A fine, tapered chronograph hand completes this well-balanced bi-compax dial; the text is minimalist with a “Furlan Marri" motif printed at 12 o’clock. On the reverse, a screw-down decagonal case back features an attractive machine-turned design, housing a Seiko Meca-Quartz movement. This mechanical quartz hybrid utilises a tuning fork-type quartz crystal. You get the same kind of mechanical resistance when you engage the pushers and a satisfying snap back of the chronograph seconds hand on reset. The watch comes paired with two 20mm Furlan Marri leather straps and signed pin buckles. Andrea Furlan, a Swiss designer and Hamad Al-Marri, a passionate watch collector and artist, founded Furlan Marri in 2020. Based in Geneva, Switzerland. Andrea worked for various watch brands such as Chopard, Hublot, Sarcar and HD3. Both were inspired by the designs of the ’30s and '40s, especially the Patek Philippe ref. 1463. Their appreciation of the case maker François Borgel steered them towards their homage watches. They use the Kickstarter platform as their way to bring their watches to the market with heavy advertising on Instagram.
