Description

Here we have a 2025 Echo Neutra Cristallo White Diver Automatic with a 42mm 316L stainless steel case, designed in Italy and Swiss-made to withstand the most demanding underwater environments. This professional-grade timepiece is part of the Cristallo collection, which draws inspiration from the rugged grandeur of the Dolomite mountains and is engineered for extreme utility. The case features angular crown guards and a well-executed, polished chamfer that transitions into the broad lugs, resulting in a lug-to-lug length of 49mm and a thickness of 14mm, for a substantial yet purposeful wrist presence. A screw-down crown and an integrated helium escape valve at 9 o’clock ensure a formidable water resistance of 500 metres (50 ATM). The focal point is the unidirectional 120-click ceramic bezel, which features a mirror-like finish and is engraved with a specialised no-decompression scale in meters. This bezel frames a matte white dial, protected by a flat, 3 mm-thick sapphire crystal. The dial layout is uniquely asymmetrical, featuring a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and a dedicated power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock, both essential for tracking the watch’s operational status during a dive. Large numeral markers and the brand’s signature arrow-and-sword hands are treated with BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova, appearing crisp white by day and glowing bright blue in the dark. Powering this professional diver is the automatic Sellita Calibre SW279 Elaboré, a modified Swiss movement featuring 31 jewels and beating at a high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. This reliable calibre provides a 41-hour power reserve and features hacking seconds for precise time setting. The watch comes with a 20mm stainless steel H-link bracelet featuring a tool-free, quick-adjust diving extension for use over a wetsuit, plus a 20mm fitted rubber strap.

Personal Note

This Cristallo is one of those watches that instantly brings out the inner child in you, in the best possible way. By day, it’s a serious, over-engineered professional diver with a sharp Italian design language and loads of practical functionality. But the moment the lights go down, the fully luminous white dial completely transforms the watch. The bright blue glow is genuinely impressive and gives it a playful, almost futuristic personality that’s hard not to enjoy. A very capable diver, but also the sort of watch that makes you glance at your wrist just because you want to see it glowing again. Snap it up today whilst you still can!

About Echo/Neutra

Echo/Neutra is a small Italian watch brand founded in 2018 by designer Nicola Callegaro and aerospace engineer Cristiano Quaglia. Their watches are inspired by the beautiful Dolomite mountains and classic designs from the 1950s and 60s. The brand name pays homage to the renowned architect Richard Neutra. Echo/Neutra quickly became known for its rugged, practical watches, such as the 1956 Cortina collection and the Averau model. They initially gained popularity through successful crowdfunding campaigns on platforms like Kickstarter. Over time, they've expanded their collection to include a wider variety of styles, such as the Rivanera, appealing to different tastes while staying true to their unique inspirations.
