Description

Here we have a 2025 AnOrdain Model 2 Porcelain Black Medium Decorated featuring a curvaceous 36mm brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with thick tapered lugs. Its sculpted, brushed flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 43mm and a case thickness of 11mm, ensuring a comfortable fit. On the right side, a coin-edged signed crown is protected by crown guards. The smooth brushed bezel holds a sapphire crystal with 3 layers of AR coating above a stunning black-glazed porcelain dial. This beautiful dial is handcrafted by their porcelain artist, Cara Louise, who uses traditional techniques and tools. An outer minute track, precisely executed, surrounds numerals filled with Super-LumiNova marking the hours. Elegant gold-plated hands are filled with the same lume and complemented by a red lacquer sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the AnOrdain motif completing this distinctive vintage-inspired field watch. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back, engraved with the watch's details around its edge. Inside an automatic A1 – Decorated G101, 24 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, designed in collaboration with Glasgow-based artist Rachel Duckhouse, expertly engraved by their partners in Switzerland, who use the latest CNC and galvanic processes to achieve this beautiful skeletonised spiral rotor and movement decoration. It comes paired with its 18mm AnOrdain leather strap and pin buckle, plus an additional 18mm WatchGecko strap. This watch is sold with its original AnOrdain presentation box, travel case and paperwork.

It comes paired with its 18mm AnOrdain leather strap and pin buckle, plus an additional 18mm WatchGecko strap. The watch is from September 2025 and is sold in a worn condition, but overall, it is in very fair condition, as you can see in the photos. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

Personal Note

AnOrdain continues to take the collecting community by storm and rightfully so. This is my preferred choice of their offering, the AnOrdain Model 2 with the 'Porcelain Black' dial and the Medium 36mm size. This is the 'Decorated' model, which was designed in collaboration with Glasgow-based artist Rachel Duckhouse, expertly engraved by their partners in Switzerland, who use the latest CNC and galvanic processes to achieve this beautiful skeletonised spiral rotor and movement decoration. I would not hesitate to add this watch to your collection today, saving yourself some money on the RRP and building wait time!

About AnOrdain

AnOrdain was created by Glaswegian Architecture graduate Lewis Heath. Heath’s idea was to set up a workshop and a start-up watch brand to master the art of enamel dial-making in the Vitreous “grand feu” tradition. The brand is named after Highland Loch. Based in Glasgow's Templeton building. In 2023, they acquired Pauline Watches, another fascinating Scottish brand, founded by Heath’s wife Charlotte Paulin and her two sisters, and in 2024, they have built a new factory incorporating six watch-making facilities into one space.
