Here we have a 2024 Vero Open Water Ridge Trail Green Automatic featuring a 41mm matte bead-blasted stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with angled flat-ended lugs. The watch is inspired by the Ridge Trail, which offers a perfect view of the iconic St. John's Cathedral Bridge in Portland. Its flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 47.5mm and a case thickness of 10.5mm, ensuring a comfortable fit on the wrist. On the right side, a signed black DLC-coated screw-down crown, hobnailed knurled for grip, is protected by angled chamfered-edged crown guards. The wide black DLC-coated 60-click unidirectional bezel features a 60-minute scale, holding a flat sapphire crystal AR-coated above a dynamic green dial. Black outlined baton and square indexes filled with Super-LumiNova mark the hours. Black baton hands tipped with Super-LumiNova are complemented by a green second hand, also lume-tipped. At noon, we have the Vero motif, and at 6 o’clock, ‘Automatic’ completes this striking sports watch. On the reverse, a screw-down solid case back engraved with the details of the watch around its edge and Vero engraved in the centre, inside an automatic Sellita SW-200-1, 26 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, this workhorse movement has hacking seconds and hand winding. It comes paired with its 20mm bracelet and will fit up to a 6.8inch wrist.
