Here we have an exquisite 2024 Venezianico Redentore Bellanotte Automatic featuring a 40mm brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case that gently curves over your wrist, with tapered, flat-ended lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a comfortable lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 11mm. On the right side, a signed coin-edged crown sits slightly recessed into the case between short crown guards. The domed, smooth bezel holds an AR-coated sapphire crystal above a stunning Aventurine sandwich dial. Depicting a view of St. Mark's Square in Venice, Italy, at night, satin discs show fireworks exploding above the off-centre polished steel ringed mother-of- pearl dial with a minute track, delicate sculpted blued hands and the Venezianico motif. The dramatic rhodium-plated Basilica di San Giorgio Maggiore in bas-relief sits in the background, and the Doge's Palace on the left side. The majestic lion of St. Mark lies front and centre, completing this dynamic Venetian scene. On the reverse, a screwed-down solid case back, intricately engraved with the Basilica of the Redeemer, fireworks exploding above and a description of the festival. Inside an automatic Seiko Cal. The inspiration to create the brand came during their time at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, where they envisioned watches that embodied the essence of their hometown while showcasing their dedication to the art of watchmaking.
