Here we have a 2024 Toledano & Chan B/1 Blue Lapis Dial automatic limited to 175 pieces. This watch features a 33.5mm horizontally brushed 904L stainless steel case with sharp-edged angles and a geometric, asymmetric design. Inspired by the distinctive lines of the Rolex King Midas but with a brutalist twist. Its unique, seamless integrated profile leads to a lug-to-lug length of 32mm and a case thickness of 10.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the left side, we have a coin-edged crown. The slim bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal above a stunning blue Lapis sterile dial. Elegant ‘tanto’ blades, sharp-edged hands sit majestically in the centre, the spectacular stone dial shimmers in the light as you rotate your wrist. On the reverse, a sharp-angled, solid brushed case back, deeply engraved with Toledano & Chan and 175 in the centre. Inside an automatic Sellita Cal. SW100, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour. It comes paired with its integrated 32mm brushed geometric shape 904L stainless steel bracelet secured by a concealed deployant clasp; all links are provided. This is my first Toledano & Chan I have had the privilege to sell, and I can easily say it won't be the last. This is their incredible B/1 Blue Lapis Dial, limited to just 175 pieces. Featuring brutalist design inspired by architecture and with KibbleWatches being located down the road from the legendary 'The Barbican', this design language has a soft spot for us. I would not hesitate to book an appointment and see this gem for yourself! But be warned, you’ll likely leave with it on your wrist!

Toledano & Chan is an independent watch brand founded by Phil Toledano and Alfred Chan in 2021, with their first watch, the B/1, launching in 2024, followed by the B/1.2 in early 2025. Phil Toledano, a New York-based visual artist and collector, and Alfred Chan, a Hong Kong-based watch designer. They connected online in late 2020 or early 2021, communicating primarily through images of brutalist architecture and their passion for vintage watches. Their designs are deeply influenced by the minimalist aesthetic of 1970s watches, particularly the Rolex King Midas, and brutalist architecture, exemplified by the Met Breuer building. Their remote collaboration is a prime example of a modern business model, happening entirely online.
