French watch customiser Romaric André, known internationally as seconde/seconde/, lends his signature subversive wit to this special release. Following the overwhelming success of his ghost-themed parody on the iconic Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, this edition cheekily fills the dial with a "fraid" of playful, luminescent spectres. The 40mm brushed stainless steel case curves beautifully over the wrist, featuring a standard lug-to-lug length of 46.5mm and a slim case thickness of 12mm. On the right side sits an exposed screw-down crown engraved with the seconde/seconde/ logo, perfectly complementing a unidirectional rotating bezel wrapped around a boxed sapphire crystal. Underneath the anti-reflective glass is a heavily textured dial where multiple layers of raised, SuperLumiNova-coated ghost caricatures flicker vividly to life in the dark. Sleek, brushed hour markers and matching baton hands navigate the spectral dial, accompanied by a custom, theme-integrated seconds hand. At 12 o'clock, the Spinnaker motif sits subtly embedded, while the tongue-in-cheek text anchors the design at 6 o'clock. On the reverse, an exhibition case back showcases the automatic Miyota Cal. 9039 premium movement, boasting 24 jewels and a smooth sweeping frequency of 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes paired with two Spinnaker 20mm 20mm straps.
