2024 Norqain Freedom 60 Black Automatic 42mm

We have a curvaceous 2024 Norqain Freedom 60 Black Automatic with a brushed and polished 42mm stainless steel round case. The brushed flanks lead to thick lugs and comfortable lug-to-lug of 51mm and a case thickness of 11mm. On the right side is a signed crown with deep knurling for grip; on the left side, a polished screwed-in raised section engraved with Norqain. The smooth, polished, sloping bezel holds a box sapphire crystal above a sunburst black dial. An outer minute track is precisely executed surrounding applied baton indexes, complete with a line of Superluminova and an inner lume plot marking the hours, creating a vintage aesthetic. At 3 o’clock, we have a colour-matched date window, polished syringe style hands are complemented by finely tapered sweeping seconds hand. At 12 o’clock, a polished applied Norqain motif and “Automatic” complete this rugged sports watch. On the reverse, a screw-down exhibition case back, the brushed sections highlight polished details of the watch in relief; inside an automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, the branded black rotor is nicely decorated with Côtes de Genève, it has hand winding and quick set date for your convenience. NORQAIN was founded in 2018 by Ben Küffer. He has over 45 years of experience in manufacturing and ownership of Swiss luxury watches. Ted Schneider, whose family name owned Breitling for almost 40 years, and Swiss ice hockey legend  Mark Streit came on board as Co-Founders and Board members. Based in Nidau (Bienne), Switzerland, it is close to the Swiss watch industry. Jean-Claude Biver is an advisor to the board, bringing with him many years of knowledge and innovation to this young brand. Their motif carries the symbolism of a mirrored “N” end to end in the shape of the mountains found in the Swiss Alps. In 2020, they signed a long-term partnership with movement manufacturer Kenissi, which is owned by TUDOR.
