Here we have a 2024 Elliot Brown Holton Auto GMT Whiteout with a 43mm pale matte steel vapour-blasted case with fine ceramic particles giving the case its distinctive look, curving over your wrist thanks to the drilled tapered screw in lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 52mm and a case thickness of 14mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side at 4 o’clock, we have a signed hobnail grip, triple gasket screw-down crown sitting slightly recessed into the case. The 120-click unidirectional bezel has the same frosted treatment applied with a lumed 24-hour insert coated in SuperLuminova. A 2mm flat sapphire crystal AR coated on the inside sits above a crisp white, fully lumed dial of SuperLumiNova BGW9. A 60-minute numerical rehaut surrounds a minute track with thick black indexes, 12, 3, 6 and 9 at the cardinal points, and a red triangle at noon marks the hours. At 4.30, a small round colour-matched date window. Black outlined sword hands filled with SuperLumiNova X1 C3 are complemented by a red-tipped sweeping second hand and a black broad arrow-headed GMT hand. At noon, we have the Elliot Brown motif, and along the bottom edge, 200M/ 660FT completes this striking traveller's companion. On the reverse, a screw-down solid super-compressor case back with the details of the watch around its edge and an engraved Elliot Brown motif in the centre, inside the Elliot brown shock protection cell an Automatic Seiko NH34, 24 jewels, beating at 21,600 beats per hour, to set the GMT hand, pull the crown out one click and rotate clockwise, to change the date, rotate the crown anticlockwise.
