2024 Clemence Munro British Watchmakers Day Exclusive

Here we have a 2024 Clemence Munro British Watchmakers Day Exclusive. Inspired by vintage field watches but with a colourful Union Flag twist, only four watches in two dial variations were made in total, making this a collectable one of two. The 37.5mm polished and brushed 316L stainless steel round case sits comfortably on your wrist thanks to refined tapered drilled lugs, and a polished chamfer edge leads the eye to a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 10mm. A signed screw-down crown with deep knurling for grip is on the right side. The smooth brushed bezel has a polished chamfer edge, lifting it from the case and holding a box sapphire crystal AR coated in 8 layers on the inside, resembling the domed crystals of the past, in keeping with its vintage aesthetic sitting above a striking blue cross-hair dial. A domed white minute chapter ring has red accents at the hour surrounding applied polished Arabic 12 and 6 numerals and batons filled with Grade A BGW9 Super-LumiNova. Polished arrow hands are filled with the same crisp white lume and are complemented by a counterweighted sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the Clemence motif, and at 6 o’clock, the Clemance logo its shape is a tribute to the “Dirty Dozen'' military issue Broad Arrow; on the outer edge, we find “Britain” a proud recognition that the watch is assembled in Britain. On the reverse, a screw-down hermetically sealed case back with the details of the watch and a blank star pattern engraved in the centre, inside a quality automatic Miyota Cal. 9039, 24 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, with hand winding and hacking seconds for your convenience. The watch comes paired with its Clemance quick-release polished and brushed 20mm stainless steel tapered bracelet secured by a push-button tool-less micro-adjust clasp; all links are provided, plus a 20mm Clemence leather strap and signed pin buckle and comes with its Clemence presentation box, travel pouch and paperwork.

This watch is being sold with its original Clemence box, travel pouch and paperwork. It also includes the original Clemance quick-release polished and brushed 20mm stainless steel tapered bracelet secured by a push-button tool-less micro-adjust clasp; all links are provided, and a 20mm Clemence leather strap and signed pin buckle. The watch is from April 2024 and is in lightly worn condition, but overall, it is in very fair condition, as you can see in the photos. It also comes with its Manufacturer's Warranty.

My first Clemence to stock and it wasn't just any regular Munro model, this is the British Watchmakers Day Exclusive which consisted of 4 watches total in 2 colour ways, making it 1 of 2 total with No. 000 stated on the case back. This has definitely drawn me into the brand and I am looking forward to adding one to the personal collection at some point. It will come as no surprise this one sold before it could even make it to the website, but I do hope if it comes up for sale again it will come through me!
