Here we have a 2024 Bremont Broadsword Recon Limited Edition of just 200 pieces, a contemporary Approved by the MOD take on the iconic Dirty Dozen military watches of the 1940s. Featuring a satin brushed and polished 40mm stainless steel two-piece case that sits comfortably on your wrist with thick tapered lugs. Its curved flanks are decorated with three engraved lines that taper towards the top edge, resulting in a lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm. On the right side, a signed screw-down crown with deep knurling for grip. The domed, satin-brushed, polished bezel holds a domed, AR-coated sapphire crystal above a matte black sandwich dial. An outer minute chapter ring surrounds stencilled Arabic numerals marking the hours that show the C1 Super-LumiNova base underneath for a vintage green glow. At 3 o’clock, a colour-matched date window. Slim hands coated in C1 Super-LumiNova sit above a sub-seconds at 6 o’clock. At noon, we have the Bremont motif and HMAF (Her Majesty's Armed Forces). On the reverse, a screw-down solid case back is engraved with the watch's details and the Heraldic Badges of the three armed forces at the centre. Inside an automatic Bremont Cal. 11 1/2’’’ BE-95-2AV, 31 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, Chronometer Certified to ISO 3159 standard and fitted with a Nivaflex 1 mainspring, Anachron balance spring and a Glucydur balance. It comes paired with three 20mm Bremont straps and signed pin buckles. This watch is sold with its original Bremont box, travel pouch, springbar removal tool and paperwork.
