The Watch

Here we have a 2023 Unworn Unimatic x South Park U1-EC Limited of 083/100 a collaboration between Unimatic and South Park created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, an adult-themed animated series based in an obnoxious primary school in Colorado near the Rocky Mountains in the US that follows four characters, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick and was first aired on TV in 1997. A 41mm brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with thick tapered lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 49mm and a case thickness of 14mm ensures a comfortable fit. On the right side a screw-down crown protected by crown guards, the unidirectional bezel has a black aluminium sterile insert with the characteristic lume pip at 12 o’clock holding a double domed sapphire crystal AR coating on the inside above a matte white dial with the multi-coloured printed character from South Park Eric Cartman in his turquoise beanie. An outer minute track is precisely executed with turquoise disc and baton indexes marking the hours coated in Super-LumiNova C9 and slender sword hands are infilled with the same Super-LumiNova C9 complemented by a lollipop counterbalance sweeping second hand. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the characters from South Park etched across the centre and the watch's specification etched around its edge, inside an automatic Seiko Cal. NH35A, 24 jewels, beating at 21,600 beats per hour, this workhorse movement has hand winding and hacking seconds. The watch comes fitted on its 22mm Turquoise Nubuck leather strap with a signed brushed stainless steel buckle plus an additional black 22mm nylon NATO strap with a signed brushed stainless steel buckle in the box and the watch comes with its Unimatic strong pelican case and paperwork.
