The Watch
Here we have a 2023 Tourby Lawless Blue Diver on Bracelet 6220.2 with a 39.5mm brushed stainless steel case, the polished bevel edge leads to tapered drilled lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 47.5mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown protected by crown guards. A unidirectional stainless steel bezel has a coin edge and screws for easy maintenance, and a sapphire dive insert has large numerals and markings holding a slightly domed sapphire crystal above a German-made sunburst blue dial. An outer minute track is precisely executed surrounding bullet-shaped indexes filled with BGW9 Superluminova marking the hours, at 6 o’clock a date window, striking sword hands filled with BGW9 Superluminova are complemented by an arrow point sweeping second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the Tourby motif and at 6 o’clock “Lawless Diver 656ft/200m” completes this dynamic sports diver. On the reverse a screw-down case back with a large engraved Neptune, the Roman God of the seas, and the details of the watch engraved around its edge, inside an automatic ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes paired with its original 20mm Tourby brushed stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp and dive extension, all links provided. This watch is sold with its original Tourby box, travel case and paperwork.

It all began in 1999 when the founder Erdal Yildiz was given the pocket watch of his grandfather. While trying to find a watchmaker to service the watch a flame was ignited inside Erdal. His enthusiasm for watchmaking began. As a hobby, his curiosity and knowledge grew. In 2004 he began to meet with watch component suppliers in Germany and Switzerland. Deciding to use the Internet as his marketplace he could reach the maximum number of customers. In 2007 - The Tourby brand was born. The brand and logo are then registered at the Patent Office in Munich. Based in Hagen in Westphalia Germany. He quickly set up an English-speaking website followed by a German-speaking website. Creating unique timepieces at attractive prices.
