Here we have a 2023 SevenFriday P1B/01 Automatic, an interesting watch that starts with the 47mm sandblasted and polished stainless steel case resembling a 60’s TV screen and is inspired by the industrial cogwheel. A lug-to-lug length of 46.5mm and a case thickness of 12mm ensures a comfortable cushion fit on your wrist. On the right side is a signed crown with deep knurling for grip. A polished sandblasted stepped bezel holds a Sapphire crystal above a dynamic hard-brushed stainless steel dial made up of 6 separate layers of matte, brushed finishing and Rhodium and black discs. The dial is made up of a minute track, a rhodium-plated hour hand and an orange minute hand, with a 60-second rotating disc and a 12-hour rotating disc complete with a handy screwed-in pointer. The details of the watch and the SevenFriday motif are printed in contrasting black; the various elements bring together an attractive multi-dimensional dynamic dial. On the back, we have a screwed-in case back with specifications and SevenFriday engraved, inside an automatic Miyota 8257, 21 jewels, 21600 beats per hour, the dial has a skeletonised open balance at the 7 o’clock position.
