2023 Monta Skyquest GMT Black Dial "Coke" Bezel 40mm

Here we have a 2023 Monta Skyquest GMT Black Dial "Coke" Bezel, released in 2018, with a 40mm brushed and polished stainless steel case, a polished bevel edge that leads the eye to the tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown with deep knurling for extra grip, protected by short crown guards; a rotating bezel has deep knurling for grip, with a 24-hour black-and-red “Coke” ceramic insert, and holds the bevel-edged flat sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, above a stunning black dial. A minute track surrounds the applied, polished Rhodium-plated indexes filled with Super-Luminova BGW9 marking the hours, with a framed date window at 6 o'clock. Elegant diamond-cut, Rhodium-plated hands filled with the same Super-LumiNova are complemented by a tapered, sweeping second hand and a red GMT hand with a helpful curve that allows it to skirt above the indexes. At noon, we have the Monta motif, and at 6 o'clock, the “1000ft-300m” red “Skyquest” completes this striking sports traveller's watch. On the reverse, a screw-down sapphire exhibition case back features the watch details engraved around its edge and houses an automatic Monta Cal. M-23, 21, or 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour; this quality movement is based on either the ETA 2893-2 or Sellita SW330-1 and includes hacking, hand-winding, and a quick-set date for your convenience. The watch comes with its original 20mm Monta polished-and-brushed stainless steel bracelet, a signed safety deployant clasp, and a three-slot quick micro-adjustment; all links are included, along with the original Monta presentation box and paperwork.
