Here we have a 2023 Lorier Falcon SIII 'Waffle Dial' Automatic featuring a 36mm 316L stainless steel case that sits on your wrist with tapered flat-ended drilled lugs. Its brushed, curved flanks are topped by a flowing, polished chamfered edge, leading to a comfortable lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 11mm. On the right side, a coin-edged screw-down signed crown. A polished and brushed smooth bezel holds a domed Hesalite crystal above a striking black honeycomb ‘waffle’ explorer dial. An outer minute track surrounds 3D-printed bullet-shaped indexes and 3, 6, and 9 numerals coated in BGW9 Super-LumiNova, marking the hours. Steel hands filled with the same lume are complemented by an arrow-point sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the Lorier motif ‘Automatic’ printed underneath, and at 6 o’clock, ‘Falcon’ completes this rugged expedition timepiece. On the reverse, a screw-down solid case back, inside an automatic Miyota Cal. 90S5, 24 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour.
