Here we have a 2023 Helm Khuraburi Automatic Black 300M Diver, named after the small coastal town in Thailand. Featuring a 43mm satin-brushed stainless steel case, tested in accordance with ISO 6425:2018 standards. Curving over your wrist with thick, flat-ended drilled lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 49mm and a case thickness of 15mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. At 4 o’clock, a large, deep knurled screw-down signed crown. The unidirectional 120-click 316L stainless steel bezel features deep knurling for grip and a black sapphire dive insert coated in BGW9 and orange Super-LumiNova. A domed sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, sits above a matte-black dial. An outer orange minute chapter ring surrounds the applied indexes, which are coated in BGW9 lume, marking the hours. Thick sword hands filled with BGW9 and orange lume are complemented by an orange-tipped sweeping second hand. At noon, we have the Helm motif, and at 6 o’clock, ‘Divers 300M’ completes this rugged professional dive watch. On the reverse, a solid screw-down case back, deeply engraved and embossed with the watch's details. Inside an automatic Seiko Cal. NH38, 24 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour; the movement has hacking, quick-set date and hand-winding for your convenience. It comes paired with its 22mm Helm brushed 3-link stainless steel bracelet, secured by a signed fliplock deployant clasp; all links are included, along with an additional NATO strap. This is the brilliant Helm Khuraburi; whilst it offers all the usual over-engineering that Helm brings to the table, it arguably feels more refined, even in its larger 43mm case size.
