Here we have a 2023 Fortis Marinemaster M-40 Rockstone Horizon F8120005 inspired by nature with a 40mm brushed recycled stainless steel barrel-shaped case, a first in the industry to use this material; its ergonomic shape comfortably slopes over your wrist thanks to the screwed hooded lugs. Bevel edges lead to a lug-to-lug length of 42.5mm and a case thickness of 12mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed triple-gasket crown with deep knurling for grip protected by rectangular crown guards. The 120-click unidirectional bezel has a black knurled edge for grip and a brushed stainless steel 60-minute dive insert with engraved numerals and markings filled in black. A flat sapphire crystal sits above a striking Rockstone grey dial in a repeating Fortis “O” texture, creating depth and interest; an outer grey minute chapter ring surrounds applied baton indexes filled with X-1 Super-LumiNova. At 3 o’clock, a date window, brushed steel hands filled with the same lume are complemented by a lollipop sweeping second hand; at 12 o’clock, we have the Fortis motif, and at 6 o’clock, “Marinemaster M40 Performance 300m-1000ft” completing this dynamic rugged dive watch. On the reverse, a screw-down solid case back with the details of the watch engraved around its edge and an attractive winds star/cardinal points engraving, a nice touch to its maritime aesthetic, inside an Automatic Fortis Cal. UW30, a Sellita SW200-based movement beating at 28,800 beats per hour, has hacking seconds for precision setting. It comes paired with its 21mm Rockstone Grey Horizon rubber strap with the same repeating Fortis “O” texture and signed brushed pin buckle. The watch comes with its Fortis presentation box, spring bar removal tool and paperwork.

This watch is sold with its original Fortis box, spring bar removal tool and Fortis paperwork, which is hidden in the top lid. It comes paired with its 21mm Rockstone Grey Horizon rubber strap with the same repeating Fortis “O” texture and signed brushed pin buckle.
