2023 Crafter Blue Hyperion Ocean Chronograph 42mm Blue

Here we have a 2023 Crafter Blue Hyperion Ocean Chronograph, Arctic Blue, created to bring awareness of the disappearing sea ice around the Arctic at a rate of 10% every decade. A 42mm brushed and polished stainless steel case that curves over your wrist thanks to the twisted tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 51mm and a case thickness of 17mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. Down the right side, we have orange and blue-collared screw-down pushers, and in the centre, a screw-down signed crown with deep knurling for grip. A unidirectional bezel has deep knurling for grip and a black ceramic dive insert with white markings. The domed sapphire crystal sits above a striking Artic blue sunburst dial, and an outer minute chapter ring surrounds the applied white disc and orange baton indexes marking the hours; at 3 o’clock, a small seconds counter with an orange hand; at 6 o’clock, a date window; and finally, at 9 o’clock, a Regatta 30-minute counter segmented in orange, blue and grey indicating the passing time. Steel skeletonised hands are tipped with Super-LumiNova complemented by a tapered orange chronograph hand. At noon, we have the Crafter Blue motif “Automatic” and “200m/666ft” in orange; at 6 o’clock, the Hyperion Ocean Chronograph completes this dynamic sports dive watch. On the reverse a screw-down case back engraved with the details of the watch around its edge and the representation of the Northern Hemisphere in the centre, inside an automatic Seiko Cal. NE86, 34 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, a vertical clutch column wheel movement with hand winding, quick-set date and hacking seconds for your convenience. The watch comes paired with its fitted 20mm Crafter Blue black rubber strap plus a wrapped and unworn 20mm brushed stainless steel 3-link bracelet secured by a flip-lock push button release folding clasp; all links are provided and comes with its Crafter Blue Pelican case and paperwork.

This watch is sold with its original Crafter Blue Pelican case and paperwork. It comes paired with its fitted 20mm Crafter Blue black rubber strap plus a wrapped and unworn 20mm brushed stainless steel 3-link bracelet secured by a flip-lock push-button release folding clasp; all links are provided. The watch is from December 2023 and is sold in worn condition, but overall, it is in very fair condition, as you can see from the photographs. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

This is the first Crafter Blue watch I have had in stock and I am impressed by the build quality and value for money the brand is able to offer. This is by no means a small watch, whilst being 42mm it is powered by the a utomatic Seiko calibre NE86 which is quite at thick movement, this adds a real heft and thickness to the watch but overall it still wears incredibly well. Paired on a fitted rubber and coming with an unworn bracelet in the box, this offers a lot for your money so I would not hesitate to add this to your collection today!
