Description

Here we have a 2023 Artel Rotec V2 Automatic Forged Carbon Limited Edition of just 100 pieces. This striking, high-tech timepiece features a 41mm matte forged carbon composite case, showcasing a futuristic, avant-garde tonneau silhouette that draws clear inspiration from elite, modern hyper-horology. The multi-layered case architecture features scalloped sides and a structural bezel secured by six proportioned screws, offering a commanding lug-to-lug length of 52.5mm and a bold thickness of 14.5mm for a powerful, lightweight presence on the wrist. A signed screw-down crown. The standout feature of this specific model is its multi-level, partially skeletonised dial accented with vibrant blue detailing that highlights the watch's mechanical depth. The architectural layout features a series of technical complications: a panoramic, skeletonised big date window at 12 o'clock, a running small-seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock, and an integrated power-reserve indicator at 6 o'clock. Big silver hands and structural elements are filled with premium Swiss Super-LumiNova for sharp legibility in dark environments. Protecting this complex design is a curved sapphire crystal with multiple layers of interior anti-reflective coating. On the reverse, an exhibition sapphire caseback. Inside beats the proprietary Swiss-made automatic Calibre ART052, co-developed by Artel Rotec alongside the renowned movement designers at Swisstech in Botoeré, Switzerland. This customised, 33-jewel mechanical calibre operates at a high-beat frequency, featuring a stealthy darkened architecture and a custom skeletonised rotor. The watch comes paired with two integrated 28mm bespoke blue FKM rubber straps that taper into a branded buckle, anchoring this timepiece securely to the wrist.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original Artel Rotec box and paperwork. The watch comes paired with two integrated 28mm bespoke FKM rubber straps that taper into a branded buckle, anchoring this timepiece securely to the wrist. The watch is from April 2023 and is in worn condition, but overall it is in fair condition, as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-Month Warranty.

Personal Note

This is another one that is incredibly difficult to capture properly on camera. The forged carbon case, layered dial, and curved crystal create so much depth and texture in person that photos just flatten completely. On the wrist, though, it’s a genuinely impressive thing. The carbon keeps it surprisingly light despite the bold proportions, and the movement layout with the big date and power reserve gives it a far more expensive feel than the price point would suggest. It has a real presence and personality of its own once you see it in the carbon. I would not hesitate to add this watch to your collection today!
