This watch is sold with its original Tissot box and IFLW paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original fitted stainless steel bracelet with a quick release and a push-button butterfly clasp. The watch is from November 2022 and is sold in worn condition, but overall very fair and close to new condition as you can see from the photographs. The watch comes with its Manufacturer's Warranty.
The Watch
Here we have a 2022 Tissot PRX Midnight Sky "IFLW" Limited Edition of 100 with a 40mm stainless steel tonneau-shaped case that is clearly inspired by the Gerald Genta creations of the 1970s. Brushed and polished surfaces transition with crisp lines that flow towards the drilled flat-ended lugs effortlessly over your wrist with the comfort of an integrated bracelet, a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of just 10mm enforces this fact. On the right side, is a signed crown. The stepped smooth bezel has polished sides and brushed tops holding the flat sapphire crystal, a distinctive and colourful Midnight Sky pattern adds dimension and interest to the blue dial, applied baton indexes play with the light as you rotate your wrist and at 3 o’clock a framed date window. The long baton hands are coated in luminance and complimented by a tapered second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the “TISSOT” motif and at 6 o’clock “PRX”. On the reverse a screw-down case back inside a Quartz ETA Cal. F06.115 movement. The watch comes paired with its original fitted stainless steel bracelet with a quick release and a push-button butterfly clasp and the watch comes with its Tissot presentation box and paperwork.
Personal Note
We have sold multiple IFLW limited editions over the years and all have sold surprisingly quickly, they have built a community of watch collectors who absolutely love what they do and how they do it, and this was no exception selling out immediately. Each dial will be unique, so whilst limited to 100 total, each one will really be a 1 of 1 which I find fascinating. I wouldn't hesitate on this model if you are interested.
The Brand
The Swiss luxury watch company Tissot from Le Locle, Switzerland, was established in 1853 by Charles Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile. Under Charles-Emile’s direction, they manufactured pocket watches with parts from Russia and the United States. In 1915, the company began producing wristwatches. Between 1920 and 1977, Tissot produced its own movements. In 1930 to survive the 1929 crash and economic crisis they entered into an agreement with Omega to form the SSIH Group which 53 years later became the Swatch Group.
