Points of Mention
This watch is sold with its original WMT box, spring bar removal tool and papers. The watch comes paired with a 20mm Oyster-style 3-link simulated rivet, which is in fact secured by screws, stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp and an additional 20mm vintage-style leather strap in the box, the bracelet will fit up to a 7.15inch wrist. The watch is from June 2021 and is sold in worn condition but overall very fair condition as you can see from the photographs. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch
Here we have a 2021 WMT Barracuda Tropical Brown / Aged Edition with a 36mm polished and brushed Oyster style 316L stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with tapered drilled lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 14.5mm ensures a comfortable fit. The design is clearly influenced and inspired by the Rolex Explorer 1016 in its form and function. On the right side is a signed crown with deep knurling for extra grip. A smooth stepped bezel holds a double-domed acrylic crystal above a tropicalised brown dial, an outer minute track in faux patina surrounds 3, 6, and 9 numerals and baton indexes coated in a thick layer of faux patina lume replicating the ageing of a dial over time. Mercedes's hands are complemented by a lollipop counterweighted sweeping second hand, all coated in the same faux patina lume, for that vintage aesthetic. At 12 o’clock we have the WMT motif and at 6 o’clock 100m/300ft “Water Resistant” completes this vintage-inspired sports watch. On the reverse a screw-down case back with WMT engraved into it, inside an automatic Miyota. The watch comes paired with a 20mm Oyster-style 3-link simulated rivet, which is in fact secured by screws, stainless steel bracelet, a signed folding clasp and an additional 20mm vintage-style leather strap in the box, and the watch comes with its WMT presentation box, paperwork, spring bar removal tool.
Personal Note
I have owned and sold multiple WMT's over the years and will continue to do so, for me the designs are fantastic for the money and provide a glimpse into the long-gone vintage world that many could never attain, even those with the money struggle to find truly great original examples, so WMT fills the space nicely and this model is no exception!
