2021 Unimatic x Hodinkee U2-H Limited Edition

Here we have a collaboration between Unimatic and Hodinkee producing a Limited Edition of 500 pieces, designed and envisioned by Hodinkee in appreciation of the unique Unimatic styling. This Modello Due is their interpretation of a modern field watch. The 41mm brushed stainless steel tonneau case curves in all the right places, and a lug-to-lug length of 49mm and a thickness of 13mm ensure a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown with deep knurling for extra grip. The smooth raised bezel holds a sapphire crystal AR coated above a distinctive Hodinkee grey California dial. An outer minute track, large Roman and Arabic numeral indexes lume filled with Super-LumiNova C1 White mark the hours. Broad phantom ladder hands filled with the same Super-LumiNova C1 White lume and a grey reverse lollipop second hand with a white tip. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with deep military-style bulls-eye engraving celebrating the collaboration and its number out of 500. Inside an automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes with a black two-piece Cordura 22mm strap and a two-piece nylon 22mm strap, both with a signed buckle and also comes with its Unimatic outer box, Unimatic tough pelican case and papers.

This watch is sold with its original Unimatic outer box, Unimatic tough pelican case and paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original Unimatic 22mm strap with an additional strap in the box. The watch is from Circa. 2021 and is sold in worn condition. Overall, however, the watch is in very good condition, as you can see from the photos. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

Some of my personal favourite Unimatics are still the Hodinkee Limited Edition like this U2-H, featuring crisp grey dials and powered by Sellita movements, they tick all the boxes. Limited to just 500 pieces they do not come up often and when they do, they don't hang around for long. If you are interested, snap it up whilst you can before someone else does!
