Here we have a 2021 Maen Greenwich 38 GMT Automatic MGG.02 limited, One of 300 pieces, with a 38mm polished and brushed 316L stainless steel case with drilled tapered lugs; the polished bevel edge of the case leads to a lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right is a signed screw-down crown with deep knurling for extra grip. The stepped polished and brushed bezel holds a double-domed sapphire crystal AR coated sits above a dynamic glossy black enamel CLOUS DE PARIS pattern dial; an outer 24-hour chapter ring surrounds broad baton indexes filled with C1 X1 Superluminova marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, a date window. Signature Maen “Skyscraper” hands with an extended centre Super-LumiNova stripe are complemented by a lollipop counterweighted sweeping second hand and an arrow-tipped GMT hand. At 12 o’clock, we have the MAEN motif, and at 6 o’clock, “Greenwich 38”, "Automatic", and GMT" complete this striking travelling companion. On the reverse is a screw-down case back with the details of the watch engraved around its edge, inside an automatic SwissTech Cal. S24-045, 28 jewels, based in Hong Kong and their movements are produced in Switzerland and are a worthy alternative to the ETA and Sellita. It comes paired with its original and worn cut waffle 20mm custom-made fitted strap and signed butterfly clasp, plus an additional 20mm Tropic rubber strap and pin buckle.
