This watch is sold with its original Farer Box, swing tag and paperwork. The watch comes paired with a quick-release Farer 20mm leather strap plus a Farer 20mm stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp, all links are provided. The watch is from June 2021 and sold in worn condition, overall fair as you can see in the photographs. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch
Here we have a 2021 Farer Ponting GMT Automatic “2nd Generation” with a polished and brushed 39.5mm stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with finely tapered lugs, and a lug-to-lug length of 45mm and a case thickness of 11mm ensure a comfortable fit. On the right side is a bronze signed crown with the Farer “A”. A smooth stepped bezel holds a domed box glass sapphire crystal above a sunburst silver dial, an outer minute track precisely executed in dark blue and orange surrounding blue Arabic numeral indices coated in SuperLumiNova marking the hours above a 24-hour centre ring of red numerals, blue syringe style hands filled with SuperLumiNova is complemented by an orange GMT hand and yellow arrowhead sweeping second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the Farer motif and printed underneath “GMT Automatic” at 6 o’clock complete this colourful travel companion. On the reverse, a screwed-down exhibition case back, inside an automatic Sellita SW330-1, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, this quality movement has hand winding, hacking seconds and adjustable GMT hand at position 2 of the crown. The watch comes paired with its quick-release 20mm Farer leather strap plus a Farer 20mm stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp, all links are provided, and the watch comes with its Farer presentation box, swing tag and papers.
Personal Note
Farer has always offered incredible watches and equally incredible prices, where they really shine in my opinion is their designs and use of colour! This Ponting GMT is the perfect example of that, beautiful silver dial with pops of vibrant colours everywhere you look, it is a ton of fun whilst still being incredibly legible and wearable in all situations.
The Brand
In 2015 Farer, an independent British watch brand was founded by Stuart Finlayson, Jono Holt, Ben Lewin, and Paul Sweetenham. Operating out of Ascot, Berkshire in the UK. All having a passion for watches, their first creations were 9 quartz watches. In 2016 they launched three automatic watches naming them after British Royal Navy ships. Building on this success in 2019 they released two land speed record-themed watches and later a collection of chronographs.
