2020s AnOrdain Model 1 Medium Post Office Red 38mm Auto

Here we have a 2020s AnOrdain Model 1 Medium Post Office Red, released in 2018 and discontinued at the end of 2021 due to sourcing issues. With a 38mm polished stainless steel case that gently curves over your wrist with curvaceous sides and tapered lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 11mm, ensuring a comfortable fit. A polished, smooth bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal AR Coated, showing off the incredible Glasgow-made Post Office Red Enamel dial, its Vitreous Enamel is applied onto a copper base. The printed numerals and indices are inspired by the cartographic maps of the highlands; in-house polished steel hands are tempered to a uniform ‘straw’ finish complemented by a tapered, sweeping second hand. At 12 o’clock we have AnOrdain motif and at 6 o’clock Vitreous Enamel. On the reverse, a screw-down case back, inside an Automatic ETA Cal. 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour, modified to remove the date position. It comes paired with two AnOrdain 18mm leather straps with a signed buckle, and the watch comes with its AnOrdain suede travel case.

The watch is from Circa. 2020s and is sold in a worn condition, but is overall very good, as you can see in the photos. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

I am excited to bring this rare AnOrdain Model 1 in 'Post Office Red' to the website, released in 2018 and discontinued at the end of 2021 due to sourcing issues. It was a short-lived and difficult to produce dial, but the result was incredible, as you can see here. The deep red dial is mesmerising in hand, with flecks of gold throughout. AnOrdain was created by Glaswegian Architecture graduate Lewis Heath. Heath’s idea was to set up a workshop and start-up watch brand to master the art of Enamel dial making in the Vitreous ``grand feu” tradition. The brand is named after Highland Loch and is based in Glasgow's Templeton building. In 2023, they acquired Pauline Watches, another fascinating Scottish brand, founded by Heath’s wife Charlotte Paulin and her two sisters, and in 2024, they have built a new factory incorporating six watch-making facilities into one space.
