This watch is sold with its original Wolbrook box and paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original strap, an additional brown leather can be provided on request. The watch is from August 2020 and is sold in worn, but like-new condition as you can see. The watch comes with its original Manufacturer Warranty.

The Watch

WOLBROOK watches were introduced in 1949 building rugged timepieces. In 1955 their sister brand Douglas was created offering large waterproof timepieces with legible green luminescence indexes on their dials. During the 1960s and the space race Neil Armstrong famously owned a Douglas Skindiver “Worldtimer” which was auctioned in 2019. During the1970s “quartz revolution”, they went out of business. But after 50 years Wolbrook and Douglas have been reborn in 2019.

Our 2020 Wolbrook Douglas Skindiver WT Professional is a modern re-edition inspired by the watch owned by Neil Armstrong. Limited to 1078 pieces this is the number eight. The 40mm brushed 316L stainless steel case has drilled lugs for easy strap swapping. A lug to lug length of 48mm and a thickness of 13.5mm ensures a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, a signed crown. A uni-directional 120 click bezel has a 60-minute scale with 12 cities/time zones printed precisely. A glass box Hesalite with an inner cyclops sits above a black dial. Large 12, 3, 6, and 9 numerals alongside long baton indexes have a thick coating of SUPER-LUMINOVA. Underneath 24 Arabic numerals in white. At 3 o’clock a small date window. Large arrow hand and thin sword hand are coated in the same SUPER-LUMINOVA, complemented by a red second hand. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the test pilot plane  North American X-15 and statistics engraved into it. Inside an Automatic Miyota 8315, 21 jewels. The watch comes fitted on a 20mm nylon strap and comes with its Wolbrook Douglas presentation box and papers.
