Here we have a war-inspired 2020 WMT Riverine Diver Watch "Seawolves". The watch is created in collaboration with Maharishi which was founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman, they have stores in Soho, London, and Tribeca, New York. Their apparel stores bring together a blend of eastern and western influences with their urban camouflage clothing.
During the Vietnam war, a special support force called Seawolves (H) AL-3 - Helicopter Attack Light Squadron 3 unit, an all-volunteer squadron in the US Navy created to support the many Naval Special Warfare operations and Mobile Riverine Forces. The 40mm stainless steel case curves towards the tapered pin holed lugs. Polished and brushed surfaces transition with crisp edges. A lug to lug length of 50mm and a thickness of 14.5mm gives the watch an excellent wrist presence. On the right side, a signed crown. A wide stainless steel bezel has a black 60-minute insert, the numerals are coated in Super-LumiNova Old Radium. A double domed crystal sits above a matte black dial. The hourly disc and baton indexes are coated in Super-LumiNova Old Radium for that vintage appeal. Slender sword hands have the same luminescence application. The text is precisely printed with the Seawolves insignia at 6 o’clock. On the reverse, a screw-down case back. Inside an automatic Miyota Cal. 8215, 21 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. The watch comes with two 20mm NATO straps with a signed buckle and comes with its WMT presentation box and papers.
