This watch is sold as a "Complete Set" meaning it comes with its original Rolex box, original Rolex papers, and swing tags. The watch comes paired on its original Rolex oyster bracelet full retail length. The watch is from 11th July 2020 and is brand new and unworn, as you can see from the photos. It comes with its UK 5 Years manufacture warranty, this guarantee is worldwide with Rolex but was originally purchased here in the UK.

The Watch

The Rolex explorer came about after 20 years of development in extreme environments, starting back in the 1930s. The goal of the watch was to create the perfect mountaineer's tool, keeping perfect time at -50°C (-58°F) with 70% less oxygen than at sea level. In 2010 the 214270 was fitted out with the black dial and 18kt white gold 3,6,9 and indices with an attractive blue Chromalight lume. This brand new, unworn 214270 has elegant 18kt white gold Mercedes hands with sweeping seconds hand, filled with Chromalight lume, move effortlessly around the 39mm dial. This is a mark 2 dial that they introduced in 2016 with also a longer second hand that fits the overall design better, the mark 2 has luminous filled 3, 6 & 9! The case is made of corrosion resistance 904L Stainless Steel. 100m/300ft water resistance thanks to a double sealing system for the screw-down crown. Inside we have the Cal.3132 considered a very accurate Automatic movement with Chronometer Certification of -2/+2 seconds a day. 31 Jewels beating at 28,800 BPH. The use of a Parachrom hairspring for its speed. It’s 10 times more accurate in case of shocks, resistant to extreme temperatures, and is unaffected by magnetic fields and gravity. The 904L Stainless Steel bracelet has the Oysterlock safety clasp with Easylink micro-adjustments up to 5mm extension.

Here is your opportunity to get a Brand New Explorer without having to wait, it is quite crazy that these are also a waitlisted watch, some places up to 8/9 months! But it shouldn't be too much of a surprise as it is arguably one of the nicest and simplest Rolex's in production, fantastic history and heritage and just an overall perfect watch for every day at 39mm!
