This watch is sold with its original DOXA Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original 19mm Stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet with its DOXA-signed Folding clasp. The Watch

Unveiled at Baselworld 2019 this 2022 DOXA Sub 200 Divingstar Orange 799.10.361.10 has a 42mm 316L stainless steel tonneau case, the transition of the polished and brushed surface with bevel edges and a lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 13.5mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown with an orange Doxa fish symbol. The unidirectional dive bezel has orange Super‑LumiNova numerals and holds a scratch-resistant sapphire box crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a distinctive curvature of the dome that reminds us of the plexiglass crystals used in the 1960s. The vibrant orange dial has an outer minute track with applied baton indexes coated in Super‑LumiNova marking the hours, at 3 o’clock a framed date window, and sword hands complemented by a tapered second hand all coated in the same Super‑LumiNova and at 12 o’clock we have the DOXA motif and at 6 o’clock “SUB 200” completes this vibrant dive tool watch. On the reverse a screw-down case back with the deeply engraved DOXA fish symbol on top of a wave pattern, inside an automatic ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes fitted on its DOXA 19mm 316L stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet with a signed folding clasp with the DOXA fish symbol and the watch comes with its DOXA presentation box, swing tag and papers.


Personal Note

The value of this watch brand new from retail is insane, so pre-owned this is an unmissable deal, in my opinion, a fantastic-looking watch from a brand with real history and pedigree, built like a tank and ticks so many boxes! I wouldn't hesitate on this deal and would snap it up whilst you are interested.


The Brand

Doxa was established in 1889 in Le Locle Switzerland by Georges Ducommun. In 1921 Doxa became the supplier of dash clocks to Bugatti. In 1925 Georges became the vice president of the Swiss Horology Society. 1936 saw Georges' passing and the company was now in the hands of son-in-law Jaques Nardin the grandson of Ulysse Nardin. In 1944 the company was renamed “Manufacture des Montre DOXA”. The company was finally sold in 1997 to the Jenny family, transferring their headquarters to Bienne Switzerland.
