The Octo has quickly become one of my favourite modern watches currently made, the Finissimo line even more so! The case proportions are incredible on the wrist, it wears so well despite looking like a large watch, especially with the bracelet design and lug connection. This example offers the best of both worlds with the bracelet and the strap option, between them you really do have two completely different looks, it's quite amazing! If you are on the fence, book an appointment and come see it for yourself.
Founded in Rome in 1884 by the highly talented Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, the brand quickly gained a reputation for Italian excellence with incredible craftsmanship and finest jewellery creations. In 1905 they opened a store in Condotti called the “Old Curiosity Shop”, to take advantage of the wealthy British and American tourists visiting Rome. During the 1940s they designed a watch that coils around your wrist like a snake. Their watches have been worn by many movie stars including Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, and Audrey Hepburn. Today they are a subsidiary of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton joined by brands like TAG Heuer and Hublot.
