This watch is sold with its original Zodiac box and Zodiac paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original 20mm Zodiac tropic rubber strap with a signed buckle. The watch is from October 2019 and is in worn condition, but overall in very fair condition as you can see from the photographs. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch
Here we have here a fantastic 2019 Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 Blue Lagoon ZO9275 with a 40mm stainless steel case that has brushed and polished surfaces with steeply angled lugs, at 49mm lug-to-lug length, you can be sure of a comfortable fit on the wrist. On the right side, is a signed screw-down crown. The unidirectional bezel has a black glossy ceramic dive insert, with red accents, that resembles the Bakelite bezels used in the past. A domed crystal sits above the striking sunburst metallic Blue Lagoon dial, a broad cream minute chapter ring precisely printed has applied indexes filled with C3 Super-LumiNova marking the hours, and at 3 o’clock a framed date window. Broad C3 Super-LumiNova filled baton hands, the red minute hand adds a pop of colour, and the centre second hand has a square counterweight. The dial is very legible in all types of lighting conditions, this watch really does make a statement of intent on your wrist. At 12 o’clock we have the Zodiac motif “Super Sea Wolf” printed underneath in a swirling script, at 6 o’clock “Automatic 200M/600FT” completes this distinctive dive watch. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the Zodiac motif engraved in the centre, inside the Fossil Groups' in-house manufactured Automatic STP Cal. 3-13, 26 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, it has hand winding and hacking. Fitted on its original 20mm Zodiac Tropic rubber strap with a signed buckle and the watch also comes with its Zodiac presentation box and papers.
Personal Note
The Super Sea Wolf range for Zodiac has been a great success and helped to put the brand back on the map and in the minds of watch collectors, especially at their incredibly fair price point, even more so once pre-owned like this example! If you are a fan of vintage dive watches but want something that is robust that you don't have to worry about, this Zodiac is one to consider.
The Brand
Zodiac was founded in 1882 by Ariste Calame. Their headquarters can be found in Locle Switzerland. The name Zodiac was patented in 1908 when he started to manufacture wristwatches. In 1953 we saw the introduction of the Sea Wolf, one of the first commercial purpose-built dive watches. On October 1, 2001, Fossil Inc. purchased the worldwide rights to the Zodiac brand name for approximately $4.7 million.
