This watch is sold with its Franck Muller box and paperwork. It comes paired with a fitted 27mm blue fabric strap with orange stitching secured by a signed folding butterfly clasp. The watch is from June 2019 and is sold in worn condition but overall in very fair condition, coming fresh from a light polish, as you can see from the photographs. The Watch
Here we have a 2019 Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting Automatic with a 44mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel and Rose Gold case. Its curvaceous flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 53mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side, a signed crown with knurling for grip is seated between Rose Gold crown guards. A domed sapphire crystal sits above a dynamic nautical-themed blue dial, complete with a beautifully executed multi-dimensional compass in the centre. An outer chapter ring has the compass points in white and red, and the minute track has red outlined pips surrounding exploding Arabic numerals outlined in Rose Gold and filled with lume marking the hours. At 6 o’clock, a Rose Gold date window, elegant Rose Gold hands are filled with lume and complemented by a red arrow pointed Rose gold second hand. We have the Franck Muller motif on the top edge, and on the bottom edge, “Yachting” completes this charismatic nautical watch. Inside an Automatic MVT FM 2536-SCDT, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour. It comes paired with a fitted 27mm blue fabric strap with orange stitching secured by a signed folding butterfly clasp. The watch comes with its Franck Muller presentation box and paperwork.

The Brand
Franck Muller, the founder and former CEO of the luxury watch brand that bears his name, was born in 1958 with a natural curiosity for the art of watchmaking. He spent his childhood in La Chaux-de-Fonds, a city renowned for its watchmaking industry. At the age of 15, he enrolled in a watchmaking school to pursue his passion. After graduating from the Watchmaking School of Geneva, Franck Muller worked on repairing high-end pocket watches and with Patek Philippe watches under the guidance of an independent watchmaker named Svend Andersen. This experience allowed him to gain a deep understanding of the mechanisms that power complicated timepieces, inspiring him to establish his own workshop. In 1984, Franck Muller designed his first Tourbillon wristwatch, which was a technical marvel that showcased the full extent of his mastery. The watch was an instant hit, and he continued to receive requests for new timepieces, leading to the establishment of the House of Franck Muller in 1991 after meeting his co-founder Vartan Sirmakes. Franck Muller currently produces a limited number of watches each year for private clientele and has 570 official retailers worldwide, with five sites located in different parts of Switzerland.
