This watch is sold with its original Farer Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired with a Farer 20mm American Horween leather quick-release strap. The watch is from May 2019 and sold in worn condition, overall very fair as you can see in the photographs. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch

Here we have a 2019 Farer Lander Chronograph with a 39mm 316L stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with tapered lugs, brushed surfaces have an attractive scalloped side and a polished bevel-edge leading to a lug-to-lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 13mm giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side, we have rectangular chronograph pushers and in the centre, a bronze signed crown with the Farer “A”. The smooth brushed bezel holds a sapphire crystal above a striking sunburst “Lander Sea Green" dial, an outer Telemeter scale measuring the distance between the user and an event that can be both seen and then heard surrounds a minute track precisely executed with large Arabic numerals thickly coated in SuperLumiNova marking the hours, at 3 o’clock a continuous second register and at 9 o’clock a 30-minute register each slightly recessed with a concentric circular pattern and an orange-tipped hand, slender hands are infilled with SuperLumiNova complemented by a tapered orange chronograph hand. At 6 o’clock a framed date window, and at 12 o’clock we have the Farer motif and at 6 o’clock “Chronograph Automatic” completes this military-inspired bi-compax. On the reverse, a screwed-down sapphire crystal exhibition case back, inside an automatic ETA 2894-2 Elaboré, 37 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour, this modular chronograph movement is based on the ETA 2892-A2 and has a bespoke Farer skeletonised bronze turbine design rotor. The watch comes paired with its 20mm American Horween leather quick-release strap and the watch comes with its Farer presentation box, paperwork and swing tag.

Personal Note

The Brand

In 2015 Farer, an independent British watch brand was founded by Stuart Finlayson, Jono Holt, Ben Lewin, and Paul Sweetenham. Operating out of Ascot, Berkshire in the UK. All having a passion for watches, their first creations were 9 quartz watches. In 2016 they launched three automatic watches naming them after British Royal Navy ships. Building on this success in 2019 they released two land speed record-themed watches and later a collection of chronographs.
