Here we have a 2019 Doxa SUB 300T Searambler 50th Anniversary 879.10.021.10. This watch's design draws inspiration from the pioneering SUB 300T Conquistador, launched in 1969, and pays tribute to the historical milestone of the first publicly available diver's watch equipped with a helium release valve. The 42.5mm stainless steel case curves over your wrist with its unmistakable, retro cushion-shaped geometry. A compact lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 13.5mm give the watch a remarkably wearable and ergonomic wrist presence despite its robust architecture. Mixed satin and polished surfaces transition with sharp, industrial lines. Down the right side, a substantial, signed screw-down crown ensures uncompromising utility. The characteristic patented unidirectional rotating bezel features a dual-scale outer depth ring in feet and an inner time ring in minutes, precisely executed as an integrated no-decompression dive calculator. The domed sapphire crystal, scratch-resistant and treated with an anti-reflective coating, is set above a sunray silver “Searambler” dial that delivers exceptional legibility. An asymmetric layout offsets the text, while painted black baton indexes filled with modern Super-LumiNova clearly mark the hours. At 3 o’clock, a neat date window adds daily convenience. The central handset features Doxa’s signature oversized black minute hand and a smaller hour hand, infilled with Super-LumiNova and paired with a square-tipped sweeping seconds hand. At noon, the historic Doxa motif sits proudly. On the reverse, a heavy screw-down solid case back secures the inner assembly, providing an extreme waterproof depth rating of 1,200 metres (120 bar) to withstand crushing pressures under the waves. Beating inside is the automatic ETA Cal. 2824-2, a legendary workhorse movement housing 25 jewels, operating at 28,800 beats per hour, and offering a reliable 38-hour power reserve. The watch comes paired with Doxa's iconic 20mm stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet, featuring a signed folding clasp equipped with a ratcheting wetsuit extension. This timepiece comes complete with its original Doxa presentation packaging and paperwork.
