The watch is from October 2019 and is in worn condition, overall, however, the watch is in very good, pre-owned condition as you can see from the photos and comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch
Here we have a 2019 Chopard L.U.C XPS Poinçon de Genève with a curvaceous 40mm Platinum case, polished and brushed surfaces transition with crisp well-defined lines. The prestigious Hallmark Poinçon de Genève (coat of arms of Geneva) is one of the oldest marks of watch-making excellence, established in 1886, it has very strict specifications that guarantee exquisite workmanship, precision, reliability and a high standard of decoration and finishing, each watch is assembled and regulated in Geneva. The sweeping tapered lugs lead to a lug-to-lug length of 47.5mm and a case thickness of just 7mm ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist, and on the right side is a signed crown sitting slightly recessed. A slim smooth bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal above a stunning deep blue dial, applied “12” and slim Platinum dagger indexes mark the hours, as you rotate your wrist the dial elements play magically with the light, at 3 o’clock a colour-matched date window and delicate sculpted hands sit above a recessed sub-seconds, that perfectly balance this cultivated, elegant dress watch, at 12 o'clock we have the L.U.Chopard motif above “Chronometer”. On the reverse, a screwed-down Platinum case back with the details of the watch engraved around its edge and a deeply engraved Poinçon de Genève hallmark, inside an in-house automatic L.U.C Cal. 96.01-L, 29 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, an ultra-thin 3.30mm COSC Certified movement has a bidirectional 22ct Gold micro-rotor, two stacked mainspring Barrels and beautifully decorated and finished, earning its right to have the prestigious Poinçon de Genève hallmark. The watch comes paired on a 19mm Chopard blue leather strap secured by a Platinum pin buckle and comes with a Chopard presentation box and paperwork.

It's not every day that you get the opportunity to present a beautiful, platinum, Chopard L.U.C XPS Poinçon de Genève in 40mm with an exquisite blue dial. So when this opportunity arose I jumped on it, as should you if you are interested as this is one hell of a watch at one hell of a price, especially when compared with its original RRP of £27,000! The Brand
Le Petit-Fils de L.-U. Chopard & Cie S.A. is more commonly known as Chopard. It was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, Switzerland. Local farmers during the hard winters would assemble watches that would be collected by the master watchmaker. Paul-Louis Chopard opened in 1915 a branch in the nearby town of La-Chaux-de-Fonds. Later in 1937, the company was relocated to the heart of Geneva. Karl-Scheufele III, goldsmith and watchmaker owned ESZEHA making jewellery and watches. He was looking for a Swiss supplier and came to Geneva where Chopard was last on his list, they immediately got on and a deal was struck. Germany’s Scheufele family has owned Chopard since 1963. Their clients included Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. The world’s first watch crafted from Fair mined gold was made by Chopard in 2013.
